Symbolism: Kifo is the Dragon of Despair He represents the torment life goes through everyday. His skeletal resemblance gives off an eerie feeling of the dead, one of the main causes of despair. The crystals that surround the spines each have a different meaning.
The first crystal represents Misery, one of the affects of despair. When any animal or human is in Misery, A shard of this crystal hides within its soul until it passes.
The second Crystal represents Insanity, one Affect of despair. This crystal does not always take effect. It only harms those who have weak minds. When any life form is affected by Insanity, a shard of this crystal hides in that life form's mind, corrupting it until they regain the ability to think on their own again.
The Third Crystal Represents bravery. This Only affects the strongest of minds, those who can cope with despair. They can rise over their grief and accept the fact. When this happens, a sharp of this Crystal hides in the heart of that life form, giving them a bold prowess.
The fourth and final Crystal represents denial. This is a common effect. When the life form is in Denial, it refuses to accept grief, making them a more likely target for insanity. As this occurs, a crystal shard hides in the mouth of the life form, where they speak a lie to themselves in a foolish attempt to deny themselves.
