Description:
A dominantly equine creature, XS-001 was created to be the ultimate riding companion. He sports long, physically strong legs and a slightly elongated body, meant to be able to carry more and support more weight without much trouble. A long, cat-like tail greatly improves his balance, but takes away his natural ability to swat flies away. Short forearms provide some assistance to the rider, though they are weak and have limited movement. With an intelligence twice that of a normal horse, as well as a strong sense of obedience, he can be a great asset giving you treat him properly. A short, oil-rich coat covers his body, making him easy to groom and care for. The feathering on his lower legs protect from ticks, though it also tends to collect mud and dirt, and the long ivory-colored hair on his chest and underside is more for show than for a purpose, and requires a lot of brushing to keep it from getting matted. His base color is a buckskin, slightly more beige than the traditional color, with "dark points". He has black markings on all four legs and both forearms, as well as a black "mask" facial marking. The six spikes on all of his elbows are a bright ivory color, the same as the hair on his chest and the tiger stripes that adorn his tail, haunch, and part of his face. His hooves are a grayish variant of his base coat, and are extra hard to prove more resilience to rough terrain. Four bright golden eyes give him more focus and better depth perception. Due to his modified muscle structure, though, his shoulders and upper back can be prone to injury so be careful not to overwork him. Also, because of his part liger nature, he requires a mixed diet of oats, grasses, and supplements of ground meat for the protein to keep his muscles in peak condition.
