Welllllllll... I was bored. I started this drawing a long, long, long time ago, long enough that I don't remember when I started it. I was bored, my original drawing plan of the day wasn't working out, yada yada yada, and I decided to take this old one back out of the drafts. I touched it up a little and Voila! This!

It's supposed to be a cheetah, standing silhouetted against the horizon, as the final light of day sweeps over the plains and turns everything a deep maroon hue...

I dunno. My mind weirds me out sometimes.

Anyways, now that I've sent this out to float around the Internets, someone tell me: Is this any good? I would really like some constructive criticism on this, in case I decide to do some more silhouette-y drawings in the future. ^^

This is gorgeous. <3 Love the concept and the BG! Although I agree with j u b i l e e. about making the silouhette less fluffy. Cheetahs are very slim and compact animals, and remember, they live in a very hot country, so they have no need for thick fur - their fur is flat and thin, just barely coating their muscles and giving them a smooth outline. Still, I love how you did this. :3 Great job, keep it up and you'll be at Intermediate level in no time!

Okay, I edited and made the outline a bit less fluffy and more streamlined. :3 Thank you for the advice, .:raynecub:. and j u b i l e e .! I feel it looks much better now!
