» Adoption;;
On each available imp, you can see the words "Adopt me", which means that the imp is up for adoption.
You can find the form for adopting the imp on the page of the desired imp. Keep in mind that there are all sorts of different questions or challenges when it comes to adopting.
Keep the form in one colour, and one size only. Don't change anything about the tags.

» Looks;;
The Forest Imps normally have a really dark skin(the skin displayed here is the lightest skin colour of them: Mikas is considered an albino.) ranging from black to a medium brown.
Most often they will either have freckles or some sort of facepaint.

Their hair and tail is ALWAYS unruly and messy. Brushing the hair and tail on a Forest Imp can prove to be fatal, due to the fact that they actually don't have the top of their skull. This means that a tiny amount of pressure is enough to crush their brains and kill them. It is unknown why you can't brush their tail, though. And they also have the same colour. It's very rare for a Forest Imp to have more than one hair/tail colour.
Their tail glows in the dark so they are easily located in the dark forest.

Their fashion differs as much as ours, but they will most often hide their hands in long sleeves or mittens.

» Senses;;

Sight:
Imps sees like average humans, but the colours are always more vivid to them. They also seem to be able to "zoom in" on an object and see the tiny little details, like a camera.
(example; when they sit on one side of the room, and watch a sleeping dog on the other side of the room, they can "zoom in" on it's nose and see the little details on it.)
Smell:
Imps have an extraordinary sense of smell. Even so, no one knows where their nose is.
Each Imp also smells different from the other, making it easy to track them down. Their hair/tail colour is associated with their smell.
(example; Mikas smells a lot like mint, mainly because his hair has a minty colour. This also counts for other Imps, where one with yellow hair would smell like lemons or bananas)
Hearing:
Imps hears like normal human beings, despite their large ears. This is because their ears are incredibly thin, and doesn't really catch more of the sound than everyone else.
Taste:
Imps have long, thin tongues, often in a bright colour. Even so, their taste buds are located in the far back of their mouth, which means that if they lick something, they won't actually taste it unless they put it in their mouth.
This can both be a blessing and a curse.
Feeling:
Imps' feet are really sensitive, and by sitting/standing on the ground, they can feel the vibrations from the movement of other species.
They can't feel much which their hands though, because they are basically just claws: touching them would be like touching your own nail. The imp can feel it, but not as much as if you touched it's skin.

» Disabilities;;
Of course, there are a portion of Imps with disabilities, including Mikas. Having these disabilities doesn't make them unable to do something: They just see, hear, and smell everything different, some even communicate differently. But still, it's fairly uncommon.
Here's how they experience the world:

Blind imps:
Blind imps can see, contrary to popular belief. However, they don't see things like everyone else. Instead, they see every imp, every tree, every plant, every insect as a dark form. Inside that form, they can see the other beings' souls. Their soul is like a small burning flame inside their chests, and has the same colour as the Imp's hair. The insects' souls are often a dull colour, while plants have a green colour. Earlier, this was useful as a way of detecting liars, as the soul will match the Imp's mood: If they lie, the soul will flare up, like a candle light in the wind, as an example.

Deaf imps:
Deaf imps can't actually hear anything: They can't hear when you talk to them or to others. However, they are able to hear other imps' heartbeats, and in some rare cases, fragments of the other's thoughts.
Because they were born deaf, they don't think in words, but colours, pictures and moods.

Mute imps:
Mute imps are the only type of disabled that doesn't gain the ability to see things on a completely different level. But it is possible for a mute imp to sing: They can't form words, but by letting sounds pass their throat on different ways, they can "hum" melodies and songs. Some say that mute imps are the best singers you can find, because they appreciate, cherish and love the small amount of sounds they can bring forth.

» Growing up;;
The Imps hatches from tiny eggs: They are actually rather hard to see, unless you look really hard.
The first few months, they grow rapidly: Almost a half inch. This is where they learn to talk and function in the world. However, this is also the time where most dies, due to predators or just physical flaws.
When they are about a year, they are fully grown, and their tail will start growing: This also signalizes that they are mature enough to lay eggs, should they ever want it.
Now, here's the fun part: Unlike other creatures, it's not the female who lay eggs. It's the male. After he's laid the eggs, the female will watch over them and raise the children, while the males hunt for food and protects them.
Their lifespan is relatively short: The oldest Imp is only about 7 years.
But during their life, they can manage to get over 400 offspring.
The imps often lays 20 eggs at a time, but it's commonly only around 12 who actually survives. The mom will then spend a lot of time raising the imps and keeping them in check.
The imps can do this up to 4 times a year.

» Personality and treatment of the Imps;;
First of all, the Forest imps are incredibly possessive. This means, that there will most likely be trouble if two forest imps has to share something. It will often result in fights, but luckily, the good-hearted creatures will quickly make up again after the fight.
When they fight, they use their sharp teeth and talon-like claws on their hands. Some more mischievous imps would even spit, burp, puke or fart on you in a fight. This doesn't really serve any purpose but freak the other Imp out.

They are also very affectionate, and will require a lot of attention, care and praise. They will quickly get sad, if you ignore them for long, and Forest Imps are known to die due to depression.
As previously mentioned, you need to praise them a lot: Almost no matter what they do. If they decide that rolling in dog poo is the best thing ever, you should NEVER scold them for it. This will only cause them to become depressed. Instead, praise them, while you give them a bath. Imps loves baths, as long as you don't try to comb their hair, and is VERY careful about the top of their head, it should be fine.

The Imps are also incredible good hunters and will quickly catch most insects and spiders in your house. Don't worry about spider bites either: The spider's venom doesn't seem to have a negative effect on them. In fact, the venom makes them hyper and dart around all over the place.

» Their society;;
The imps live deep inside the forests, where no predators come. This enables them to live in relative peace, and they can raise their small ones without any trouble.
Most often, you can find a family of imps living between the roots of trees, or inside a large mushroom. They live in cities, just like humans, where they work, and help each other out. If something happens to one imp, it won't take long before the news has spread to the whole town: Where every imp will happily help out in any way they can.
However, due to their mischievous personality, there are also a lot of good-natured teasing and a lot of pranks going on.
They have ranks just like humans, where the highest ranks are the royalties: Called Däijen.
Then there's the nobility, Imps with finer jobs and then your average imp. The ranks aren't such a big deal to the imps, but they will listen to what the high ranks has to say, and in return, the high ranks will do their best to keep the peace among the Imps.

» Family ties and love;;
In their families, the mom is considered the most important thing. The children will love her to death, and while they love their father too, they are more attached to her. This is because it's mainly the mother who raises them: Which is considered quite a hard task.
The love of an imp is also considered one of the purest and most sacred things: Once the imp has started a relationship with another imp, they will stay together no matter what. If one of the imps in a relationship dies, the other one won't find a new one: But the one left behind will most likely die due to the depression soon after.
Among the imps, there are no divorces or affairs. Being unfaithful towards your own lover is considered just as bad as killing another human, and it will be punished severely, should it ever happen.
