I fail at backgrounds! D: Well I got this little one from here: Skrillex c: He's a new character. The little red and yellow stuff is supposed to be flowers. The blue thing is supposed to be the river. Take 10 mins. off the timer. I was watching youtube videos while making this X3 c:

It was dark.
It had a faint smell of rabbit.
Fighting was outside.
Where was mom? I saw her a while ago, trying to keep me away from the big bear...but where was she now? I heard rustling. ''Mom?'' I squeaked. I tried to peek out, but then a paw made me slide back inside the once-rabbit hole. ''Stay there!'' A voice growled, not my mom's. The wolf didn't smell like her either. ''Let me out! Where's my mom? Let me out!'' I cried.
Snarling, growling, and fighting was heard outside. I put my paws over my ears. The memory of my father fighting with my mom came back, and I could still hear his shouting. This is why we had come here. To get away from my father. But then we bumped into a bear, I was shoved onto a hole, and ta-da! Here I was.
The fighting stopped. Some shrieks. Some screeching. ''Mom!'' I yelled, scrambling to get out. The same paw stopped me again, and I heard some whispers. ''...Maybe. But it will hurt the little one. Let him out.'' The paw got away from the entrance, and I could get out now.
''Mom!'' I shouted. No reply. I finally got out, but instead I saw other wolves, none of them looked like my mother.
''Where's my mom? What have you done to her?'' I cried, but it was more between a cry and a wail. I looked at them. One was black, with red stripes, the other was white with black markings, and one was black with blue and silver. All three where males, and the last one was a she-wolf. She was grey, with blue and darker grey in her two front paws. Her black hair with oft blue highlights hid her one left eye. She was the only one without a wound, and I recognized her scent being the one with the paw that pushed me back. The other three had wounds, some looked nasty.
''Where is she!'' I cried again. The black wolf with red stripes looked at the grey-blue-dark grey she-wolf and she padded over to me.
''What's your name?'' She asked softly. I shrunk back, starting to curl onto a ball of fur. ''Skrillex.'' I whispered, scared that she would hurt me. ''I'm Allix. Your mother, she...'' She trailed off, sorrow in her bright blue eye.
''Where is she? Why isn't she here? Did she scare off the bear? Why are you all here? Did you help?'' I asked, words tumbling out like a waterfall. She sat next to me, putting her tail over me. ''Your mom...she..she went to a better place. We helped her scare it off. I'll explain later on why.'' Allix said softly, looking at me with concern and worry. ''What do you mean by 'a better place' She didn't die did she? She couldn't have! She could have never let me alone!'' I shouted. Tears pricked, but I tried my hardest not to let them fall.
''I'm sorry. But We did promise her to take care of you. And-'' Allix continued, but I had cut her off.
''I want to see her! I want to see my mom!'' I cried, to me it was like a wail. Allix turned to looked at the other wolves who where looking. The black and blue with silver wolf nodded. ''If he wants to.'' He murmured.
''Come.'' Allix told me, leading me to where a small river was. I cried. I wanted hard to believe it was a nightmare. Not real. ''Mom..'' I whispered. Her beautiful blue and black body was covered in mud, wounds, and blood. Her purple eyes where staring at the sky. I could feel Allix's worried gaze on my fur.
I went over to where my mom's body was, and buried my nose in her fur. It smelled of home. Of earth, soil, mud, flowers, and the reek of blood. I pressed myself against her, just like I had always done since I was born.Forgetting everything around me, only me and my mom. ''Skrillex.'' Allix whispered.
For a moment there, I had Really forgotten about her. I looked up. ''Your mom had a message for you before she died.'' She continued. Silence. ''She told me to tell you, that no matter what happens, that she'll always love you, and watch over you wherever you go. She also said to be brave, because even thought you'll be the smallest in the group now, you will do more than an of us can. You'll be on your own now. But she will always be with you.'' Allix finished, staring at me for my reaction.
''Really?'' I asked. She nodded . ''I promised to take care of you. Me and the others. We will get you out of here. Get you to your father.'' She replied. At the mention of the word 'father' I cringed. I didn't want to go to that cruel beast, the one who always managed to get his way. ''No! Don't take me to my father! I don't want to be with him. He yells and shouts all the time! Please don't take me to him!'' I wailed.
Allix looked at me, pensive. ''I'll think about it. Is he really bad to you?'' She asked me. ''Yes! That's why me and my mom came here. To get away from him. He always tried to kill her and me.'' I said, memories resurfacing.
Allix just nodded, and said ''Come with me. It's time you get to know who you'll spend the rest of the journey with.'' Allix smiled.
I joined her. Burying my nose in my mother's fur one last time, before I padded away with Allix.
