WELP. This could've turned out, oh... A million times better if I did it on paper. I'm just getting a feel for CS's art stuff, so you can expect improvement. Oh, and I dunno what happened to the right of that cat. I think one of the box things was covering it. Bleh, that cat and I were making the same face as I made this.

Aw just keep trying! One thing...were you using one layer? I see some white spots that shouldn't be there. To add a layer, go to where it shows the layers. Somewhere at the bottom there should be a plus and minus button. Click plus to add a layer. Press minus to delete a layer. To select a layer, click on it. Double click on it to rename. To move a layer just click and drag it up or down. Do your sketch and lineart on seperate layers. Add the color layer below the lineart layer so the colors won't go over your lines. Also for more room, go under view and click floating mode. Then you'll have more room to move the tool windows out of the way.
