Wolf (redline)

Postby Riverotterr » Tue Jun 19, 2012 5:41 pm

Sorry Im not the greatest at wolf/dog anatomy but I did my best to help :3
(corresponds to numbers on lines)
1. The head should be much smaller on a body that size, wolf heads are small compared to the body
2. The neck slowly slopes down to connect to the body, it goes kind of in a straight line down and follows the spine/back
3. The muzzle (mouth area) has no mouth line. The top area with the nose takes up most space while the lower section below the mouth is much smaller
4. the chest should be more visible. Try to make some space for it, as there is a little bit of space between the neck and the arms.
5. The legs in the back are angled weirdly. they are wuite hard to draw at first, but try to look up some reference for back legs of wolves to see how the shape goes
Hope this helps! And remember, keep using some real pictures of wolves to help your drawings look more realistic, it definitely helps! :3
