I'm fine...it hurts though. The bit wasn't that bad I thought it was a puncture but it's a tear,it seems a little deep I'd say.It was up to date with it's rabies shots I'm pretty sure.I was standing and had my hands wrapped around a tree branch with my cousin who's the same age as me...I petted him with an adult and it was fine (and I petted him without an adult and it was fine). So he was laying on the ground and I reached out,he barked and bit me in the left hand. So,I felt sick because I was bitten by a cat once and almost ended up in the hospital, and I was worried I would have to go through that again. My vision started getting splotchy.I think I may have almost past out if I hadn't drank coke. And I wasn't at my house when this took place.Sigh...oh well

Yeah I've been keeping an eye on it. I'm worried I might have to get a tetanus shot if I'm not up to date. I'm so sorry you got bit by a wild cat....I just got bit by a house cat and it was infected 12 hours later.I had to flush the wound out with something that squirted medicine in to the wound with a syringe.Felt like needles.A wild cat...wow,owwww....15 needles....

i live in the country and people drop unwanted kittens off in the wooded areas around where i live and they group to be what is known as ferral,, wild as any other wild animal. i had a baby kitten and it was playing under the porch when this big orange ferral came and tried to kill it not thinking i reached down to grab the kitten away and the wild one bit into my thumb to the bone. they did the medicine squirt and tetnus but because we couldnt catch the animal to test it for rabies they made me go thru the shots. then when i had the last shot . a different doctor at hospital where i had to go every week for shots said, oh you dont really need them for cats just other animals . ahhhhhhhhh. but since there was a slight chance of rabies i guess safe is better than sorry yeah they put one right in my thumb then i had to come every week and have them in my hips or shoulders depending on the one giving them to me. till i had all 15. plus the tetnus not a good time. but me and little 8ball survived
