My new species a Fruit Dragon.

Any ideas for it?

It has folds of finely furred skin under it's front legs so it can gluide for a short distance. Only some are born with it, some are born with out.

The gem or 'orb' on their forehead has magical properties. If there is no food available to it, it can use it's magic to conjure up fruit until the trees fruit grows back.

Any other ideas/suggestions?

To any one who thinks it's like a JBD. It's not.
Very defined features are that it can glide and it's gem & powers.

Not as defined features: it's legs are shorter, some what stubby.
It is VERY fluffy. If it was bald, it would be tiny as.
It's ears are much larger and pointed at the tips with small 'flicks'
It only grows as big as a cat, possibly a small dog.

It looks very nice, but, excuse me for saying, it looks a lot like JBDs. I don't know if it's coincidence or because of the body colour, but another minor thing noticed is that it's even drawn with blue lines, like the Jellybean Dragon lineart for the adoptables page. Not saying you're not allowed to draw in blue, It just added to the similarity of JBD. ;3

Sorry, but it's not only the colour. I was thinking that it was mainly the features. I'll be honest; It doesn't really even seem to be loosely inspired by Jellybean Dragons. The only, defined, differences between them are the ability to glide (and what helps it to glide, of course), and the gem and it's power. Minus those, and it's pretty much a JBD.

No, sorry. The only way I can think of to make it not look like a JBD is to change it almost completely. :c
