Fennex laid on the couch, extremely bored and as a last resort was watching 'Say Yes to the Dress'. He scarfed down a few potato chips when his phone vibrated. VRRR! VRRR! VRRR!
He snorted and picked it up, nearly choking on his potato chips when he saw who it was. Redd! His pal from fourth grade! He had totally forgotten about him!
He opened the digital message to read,"Hey, bro! Meet me @ the fountain!"
He quickly jumped up and brushed his fur off, and wagged his long, shaggy tail excitedly. Before long, he was in his car, scouting for the park fountain. He cruised around the park and finally saw the fountain.
It was beautiful for a fountain. It was of animals around the world, and at the top an elephant was perched, spurting water from it's trunk. Fennex loved the fountain when he was a kid.
Sure enough, Redd was sitting there, whistling and feeding the birds like an old lady.
"Hah, bro, you look like my grandma feeding the birds like that!" Fennex laughed and fist pumped Redd.
"Man, you look so much OLDER!" Redd exclaimed, looking over Fennex.
"You too!" Fennex said and sat down by his friend.
The rest of the day they chatted.
