So when you open the program there should be a box with different types of lines. If you click on the curvy one then you should be able to position it the way you want to, but it takes a while to get used to it. And for coloring, try layers. Add a new layer to the blank one and draw on that, then you can make a new layer under that one and just use the pen/pencil tool to fill it in. It takes longer, but it is worth it. If you still need help, at the top of this page there should be a light pink box. In there there should be a link that says guide to the oekaki. Click that and read it. It really helps
