Shadow slowly trots up to Alex, and sniffs Alex. Shadow gets used to his owner, and licks his owner's face. He runs around Alex and howls. Shadow wags his tail asking to play.

Alex gets out a ball from her pocket. Its old, but does the job. She throws it a short distance, but the wind takes it into a bush full of thorns and nettles. Sighing, she walks through some trees to try and fish it out.

Shadow followed behind, and ran into the thorns and nettles. He let out a yelp, but trotted back with the ball. Shadow rolled on his back, and yipped seeing his owner, Alex. He let his tongue hang out of his mouth, as he spit the ball out of his mouth.

Alex rubbed him on his belly, and picked up the ball. Yuck. Covered in spit. But Alex didnt care. She loved Shadow.

Walking down the parks cobble path after a few fetch sessions was nice. They always did it together. So, they did that day, and encountered Sophie with her dog Manny out for a walk too.

Shadow barked at the other dog, and wagged his tail. He looked up at his owner, as he always did. He looked at her with big puppy eyes wanting to play. Shadow's mood then changed, as he looked at a bird hungrily.
