Personality: Illusionpaw is also a very interesting cat who keeps herself hidden from the world, besides the fact she has many beautiful traits and wonderful talents. Upon first meeting the young RainClan apprentice, one will instantly notice she's very respectful. She does keep quiet when first meeting someone, but she also stands straight and isn't afraid to look the other cat in the eye. When she does say something, it usually includes "please" or "thank you" or some sign of respect. This is something that can instantly make other cats gain a sort of respect for her, knowing that she won't be rude to them.
However, respect is usually all most cats who associate with her get. While Illusionpaw will gladly go hunting or just talk to some cats she'd spoken to a few times before, but she won't give out much information about herself. Everything from what she does and doesn't like to her slightly depressing history is hidden inside of her. No matter how hard a cat tries to get this information out of her, it just doesn't happen. Illusionpaw can also tell very well when people are trying to interrogate her, even if it's just barely prodding.
Instead of making tons of friends, Illusionpaw likes to focus on her training. Being an experienced apprentice, she knows the land of her Clan very well and she loves to go training with her mentor. For a few moons, she's been working hard on learning to hunt and fight. As of now, Illusionpaw's dream is to be a strong warrior and an asset to her Clan. She plans on working her way up to a respected warrior, perhaps deputy and eventually leader. However, Illusionpaw has no idea where her future is going...
Illusionpaw is also a genius, to put it quite simply. She's very smart and gets focused very easily. When she is focused, she stays there, diligently concentrating on what it is she needs to do. This is one thing that makes her an excellent hunter and fighter. Also, she was very curious as a kit, so she's very smart. When she comes upon something that she's unfamiliar with, she learns what it is and what it serves for. She also has an excellent memory, so she will memorize these things and remember them for when she might need them later.
This young golden-brown apprentice is also very adventurous. While she won't say to anyone else, she loves getting out of camp, especially when she can be taught techniques for hunting and fighting. However, she also loves to get out and just explore. The tiny creek running through the middle of RainClan territory is one of Illusionpaw's favorite places to go, even though she hates swimming in it and the fish are rather slimy. One of her favorite things to do is hide under her favorite tree during a storm. The soft sound of distant lightning, the pitter-patter of rain on the leaves above her, and the babbling sound of the water running through the stream are some of Illusionpaw's favorite sounds.
Illusionpaw is also very brave and courageous. When she's faced with a problem, she will fearlessly go through with what needs to be done, not thinking much about what the consequences will be. She knows that she can't think about consequences or else she might not be able to go through with whatever needs to be done. When something happens to her Clan or someone important to her, Illusionpaw will gladly step up and help. When she will be in battle a moon or so from now, she'll do everything possible in her power to do everything she can to fight for her Clan. This is a trait that makes her an admirable apprentice.
Illusionpaw also tries to be very exuberant. This means that she's always trying to see the good in people and the good in life. The experienced apprentice knows that life will be easier if she tries to see the glass half full, not half empty. Because of this, she's very optimistic and encouraging. While she doesn't make friends easily, she will encourage any and all of her Clan-mates, from newborn kits to dying elders. This makes her excellent when working with other cats and it also makes them enjoy her company even more. This trait will also make her more joyful to be around her own Clan when she's in battle.
However, while Illusionpaw can seem rather immaculate, she is very flawed. Besides the fact that she can't trust anyone, she also constantly wishes she could have her father back. Constantly, Illusionpaw has nightmares about his death - all the blood and gore that came with the enemy ripping him apart piece by piece. This can cause Illusionpaw to wake up sweaty and scared, causing her to be a bit scrambled in the morning. Her mind and thoughts will be all over the place, so her mentor knows not to take her out when she's like this. She also is entirely too anxious for battle, meaning that fighting always comes to her thoughts before anything else. When peace and battle come to her mind, she instantly leans towards battle, mainly because she makes her decisions too quickly.
Lastly, there are many other quirky traits about Illusionpaw that may strike one as odd. First is that she's very loquacious. In other words, she uses excessively complicated words; she's very wordy. This can sometimes confuse the younger cats of her Clan, so she has to simplify her talking when this happens. She's also very meticulous and is very picky when learning techniques for fighting or things as simple as researching something she doesn't know much about. This used to irriate her mother when she would ask entirely too many questions when trying to learn something. But those are just a few of Illusionpaw's strange traits.
So, there you have it. The full personality of Illusionpaw. Basically, she's a very smart and intelligent cat who likes to use complicated language and ask too many questions. She focuses on her dreams and goals constantly and loves to train. Her favorite spot is beneath "her tree" during a storm. Illusionpaw has constant nightmares about her father's death and instantly thinks about battle when she can. She's very brave and courageous, though she also loves to adventure. She doesn't trust cats or make friends easily, though she is very respectful. This is Illusionpaw, experienced apprentice of RainClan.
History: Illusionpaw's history really isn't anything impressive. Her parents were both born into RainClan, naturally growing up with an undying loyalty towards the Clan. This young apprentice's father was born first, 9 moons before her mother. Of course, his parents were the usual, and her father, who's name was Stonepelt, grew up living an average life. He was most of the way through his apprenticeship when her mother, who was later named Birdsong, was born. When Birdsong was at the apprentice age, Stonepelt took her on as his first apprentice and their love story started there.
Birdsong was 13 moons old when she had her first and only litter with Stonepelt. Both of her parents strongly disagreed with this decision and really didn't like the young warrior. However, Birdsong was in love and she soon fell in love with her four kits. Two were male, Quickkit and Tumblekit, and two were female, Briarkit and Illusionkit. Stonepelt fell in love with the four kits also and spent lots of time away from his hunting duties to take care of them for their first few moons. Quickly, the four kits grew attached to both of their parents.
This is when Illusionkit became very curious! After her eyes and ears opened, she was all over the nursery, exploring things about her siblings, her parents, and even other litters! Though she wasn't very loud, she did ask Birdsong many questions. Illusionkit and Briarkit grew very close, while Quickkit and Tumblekit grow very close as well. Often, they would get into arguments and gang up on each other. Occasionally the gangs would change, but for the most part it was boys verses girls. They were a cute litter.
They all became apprentices at the same time. However, when they were seven moons old, their father was sent off to battle. Birdsong was stuck in the den because she was preparing to have her second litter with the handsome grey tom. It was around midnight when the warriors returned - battered, bruised, and bloody. One tom that wasn't with them was Stonepelt. Briarpaw prodded and prodded, asking repeatedly where their father was. Finally, she was told that he was killed. Briarpaw was hurt and Illusionpaw could tell when she broke the news to the family. That night, all four of the apprentices and their only surviving parent slept together in the nursery. The depression their mother went through caused her to have a miscairrage, which really put a lot of stress on the whole family. However, they stunningly made it through and they are all still striving today.
