Gem wolves are named aptly so as gems have formed along with their bodies over years of evolution. Crystal caves found only recently under the desert sands are home to these intelligent, fun-loving creatures. The gems upon them hold high place within their society.

Each pack is led by a matriarch, the matriarch of the family is easily spotted as her whole body is covered in gems while great wings adorn her back. Only one matriarch is born for each pack when the last decides it is time to step down. Another reason the gems play such an important part in the lives of these magnificent wolves, is that although these wolves are unable to breed in the traditional sense, only those with the same colour gems on their bodies may gather the required crystals together to produce an infant. For this reason it would seem that packs include only those of the same colour gems, while the matriarch will be adorned in all shades of the main colour of the pack.

When the right combination of crystals has been placed in a circle, the parent wolves will leave and return daily in hope that they have successfully produced offspring. New crystals will start to form within the center of the placed crystals, a new Gem Wolf.

What Will it Cost?

Gem wolves available for adoption are free. Each litter will be created in batches of three.

Customs are not free, to acquire a custom you will need to own the appropriate crystal.

Breeding will be free for first time parents. Each wolf may only chose one partner and after the first creation of a Wolf Child will only be able to reproduce again if the appropriate crystal is owned.

-You can use these in rp, signatures etc.
-Do not remove the signature, change the lineart, claim them as your own creations.
-You can not sell any adoption or make any profit from them. If you don't want them let me know and I will send them to our Pound.
-If you choose a Gem Wolf as a character or a fursona then you will need to let me know if you are going to have it recreated, if I see any of my pattern designs re-used or copied I will report it as art theft.
-You may not take these offsite unless they are directly linked back here.
-You may not use any ones Gem Wolf apart from your own, in any way, without permission.
-You must post your form on the main adoption page so that I know you have probably read through this. Any forms posted on the Gem Wolves pages will be ignored.

A Clear Crystal will allow you to reserve a slot for the next litter of Gem Wolves. Remember though you will only be able to chose the slot before hand without seeing what the Gem Wolf Child will look like. You may only use one Clear Crystal per litter. - Costs 40 Crystal Vibes

Red Crystal:



A Red Crystal will allow you to create a Gem Wolf Child from two Gem Wolves who have already been 'bred' before. If both Gem Wolves have been bred together before you will still only require one Red Crystal, not one for each. - Costs 60 Crystal Vibes

Green Crystal:



A Green Crystal will allow you to order a custom Gem Wolf. You will only be allowed to use this crystal if there are custom slots available. - Costs 80 Crystal Vibes

Blue Crystal:



A Blue Crystal will allow you to change the gender of any Gem Wolf that you own. - Costs 15 Crystal Vibes

Purple Crystal:



A Purple Crystal will allow you to add items to any Gem Wolf that you own. - Costs 40 Crystal Vibes

Yellow Crystal:



A Yellow Crystal will allow you to change the name of any Gem Wolf that you own. - Costs 10 Crystal Vibes

For every week that you keep a banner or stamp made for the Gem Wolves in your signature you will earn 20 Crystal Vibes.

If you have your own adoptions etc and you have a stamp for Gem Wolves in that forum, to advertise Gem Wolves, you will earn 20 Crystal Vibes a week. The stamp/banner etc would need to be on the first page of your forum post.

Please note that for any of the conditions that require the Gem Wolf etc in your signature or forum thread, please notify me via PM that you are going to take part in this so that I can keep track of the Crystal Vibes you earn.

~You must buy Crystal Vibes before you buy the Crystal of your choice. You may then use the Crystal that you wish to purchase, you can do this all in the same post by using all of the necessary forms. You can also purchase Crystal Vibes and Crystals in advance and wait to use them. All Crystal Vibes and Crystals owned by people will be marked on the first page so you don't have to worry about me forgetting what you own.
