History: Kat was born in the midst of a blizzard, a good omen, her mother told her. Katya was never so sure, she rather felt that she was cursed somehow, a fact that seemed to grow more aparant as she aged. Always a graceful creature, with a way of moving and walking that was enviable, she still managed to knock things over and barrel into others in an odd show of clumsiness. But though the others began to wonder and worry a little at this, they didn`t pursue it and left Kat to her own devices, an ill choice as you will soon see. One terrible day Kat happened to be walking a higher hill in the alpine meadow the herd was living in, she accidentally stumbled into a boulder which began a horrific avalanche. Over the next few moments Katya knew agony like she`d never felt before as her family was swept away and killed by the avalanche she had accidentally started. Since that day Kat wanders alone, unwilling to endanger others as she searches for the source of her curse. She aspires to find what causes it and eliminate it, perhaps joining a herd afterwards and spending the rest of her days atoning for that horrific moment so long ago.

History:
Nim was a very unique Winnow. She was actually born feet first, and she nearly died at birth. But nonetheless she became a very active and beautiful girl. Nim always thought she was weird because of how she was born. Another thing is, she was born in the middle of autumn, which is a strange time for any animal to be born. She had to make it through her first winter at a very young age. Her mother always said she was very tough, and never worried too much about how she would turn out. She was right to think so. Nimueh became a beautiful and smart Winnow, who never let anyone tell her what to do, or who to be.

When Nim was 2 years old, her mother became very ill, and was dying. She was desperate to find a cure for her. She had heard of an herb that would help heal her mother. But it was very far away, almost three days time. She knew she didn't have a choice, and she went to go get the herbs. Her journey was successful, but when she came back, it was too late. Her mother had already passed away. She never forgave herself for something she could have prevented. She thought if she had just been quicker, she would have gotten back in time. After that she was never the same.
