[Maxxika]

The two Takyens walked along the street, the younger of the two staying behind by a few steps. The older had an angered look on his face as he walked, his gaze focused straight ahead. The youngest, Kunya, lifted his gaze from the ground to watch the other Taken cop's tail flick back and forth. Had he done something wrong to make Jakyes mad? Kunya didn't know, but that didn't seem like a likely reason for the anger. Jakyes hadn't smiled once this day. That only confused the young officer more.

"Hey! What's made you so mad all of a sudden?" He called ahead to Jakyes. His partner stopped walking, turning to look toward Kunya. The only emotion in his look anger. Kunya stared at him, waiting for an answer. He expected yelling, or some rude comment, but his partner was silent for a while more.

"You, you are what has made me so mad today." Jakyes finally spoke, and a shocked look came to Kunya's face. What had he done? He didn't know what it was. Watching Jakyes, he tensed, ready for the older creature to attack him. "You yourself. All of you. Everything about you, everything you are." The officer said. "You just make me mad." Kunya frowned a little at that. And he had thought he had done well today.

"What's your problem?" Kunya muttered. A small smirk came to Jakyes' face, the closest to amusement Kunya had seen from him today. It quickly left though as Jakyes caught it.

"My problem? I don't have a problem." The older Takyen said. "Welcome to Deasari, Kid. The city of fear. Your attitude is unacceptable here." He told Kunya, and the two stood in silence after that before Jakyes finally continued to walk.

I wanted to draw something. I'll add shading later. The piece above is the bit of a story that goes with it. It was Kunya's (The one on the left) first day of work as a police officer in the Takyen city of Deasari. My own made up creatures, and city. Learning that a child's life is so much different than the adult's life, from somebody who already hates him after one day.

Characters, species, art, everything about this is mine. Comment if you want. I would actually like comments. Though nothing too negative.
