Linnaeus's name: Brethil
Why you want him: I love her beautiful colors. She has beautiful markings that remind me of a bumblebee, looking all menacing and scary but actually really soft and fluffy and fun to pet. She looks so fluffeh! Also, the marking on her barrel remind me of Batman, secretive and awesome and strong. She just seems like the kind of creature you would like to be friends with. Overall, I just totally luff her.
Background story(Optional): Brethil looked over the cliff at the tiny figures below, the humans. Their 'horses', which to Brethil looked like antlerless Linnauses, carried their things and even them sometimes, seemingly doing all the work. It's a good thing they won't notice me behind this bush. She thought. Without a warning, a branch from a tree behind her snapped. Her heartbeat seemed to stop for a few seconds, then the beats she had missed had to be fit into a short amount of time. She pranced to the side, ears flicking around, and let out a squeal of surprise, perfectly alerting the humans of her. They got on their horses and slapped their hindquarters, the horses jumping forward. Brethil panicked and tried to scramble somewhere, at least. A girl on a red bay overo appeared and dismounted her horse. Her milk chocolate brown hair was under a cowboy hat and she ran towards Brethil. The Linnaeus tried to escape but the girls grabbed Brethil's neck. Not prone to fight, Brethil looked at the girl. "Calm down!" the human said. "We don't time!"Is this girl helping me?Brethil thought, confused. She had been taught to hate humans. The chocolate girl swung her leg over Brethil's back, causing her to shy. "Go!" she urged. Putting her head down, the Linnaeus galloped forward causing the paint horse to step aside. After a few strides, the men appeared on their horses. Brethil ran harder to try to force apart the herd of men. Their horses jumped aside while the chocolate girl began to grin. The pair went on to become a famous Human and Linnaeus team. Eventually they were joined by a human boy and Linnaeus stallion. [I'll get the stally later.]
