Yes, more horse anatomy. xDDD
And a few friends of mine, particularly Sola, asked for some tips, and I've finally gotten around to doing something. eue
To get the code of this, you would start with red, then green, and lastly blue for details. I have a few pointers up there, so here we go with explanations.. >:3
1. Start with two large circles for the body, and connect them as shown.
2. Draw an ELIPSE shape for the head (notice it's not a circle folks! xD), and a smaller circle for the end of the nose.
3. With gently sloping lines as shown, connect the head with the body and also the head with the nose. For the head, don't forget the chin and you'll still keep part of the circular shape for the jawbone later.
4. Next you draw the hocks and the fetlocks in accordance with however you want the legs to be positioned (standing, trot, gallop, etc.)
5. Now you can connect the legs, but be sure to still have "bulges" wherever the hocks and fetlocks are. It's sort of like connecting the dots, if you will. :3
6. Once you have those legs in-tact, then you can move on to the hooves. Notice how after the fetlocks there is a slight "bulge" and then it curves in. To draw hooves, I would suggest drawing the top, two sides that are parallel to eachother (the back one is shorter) and then draw the slightly curved bottom. I have included a hoof reference, for your convenience. xD
7. And then lastly, you can add all the details -- mane/tail, face markings, lines for muscles, etc. ^u^ Special notice to the relationship in size between the eyes and the head. Also notice the shape of the nostrils. (When facing sideways, it's resembles the shape of half a heart, but more rounded when facing towards you.)
I think that just about covers it! This drawing may seem more like that of a decent sized pony, like a Welsh Cob or something of that sort, but these are basics. :3
Feel free to ask questions, and I hope this helps a tid-bit! <3
