Solstice walked to the entrance of his den, his eyes still half closed.
"Alphan . . . ?" he said tiredly. "What is it?" The god appeared a few moments later, his body made of sand. His expression was somber and that made Solstice's stomach clench with fear. Alphan sighed and looked down, shaking his head.
"I feared this day would come . . ." he said, his deep voice echoing around the cave. Solstice didn't understand.
"What day? What happened?" he asked. Alphan looked up, locking eyes with the King.
"The Fear has risen once again," he said.
