✸ What The Heck Is A Sapple Bunny? ✸

A Sapple Bunny is an adorable, fluffy mix between a bunny, jackalope, and a tree 83 I created these species while looking out my window at a tree, thinking about Bunnies... They travel in small groups of 5 - 7, babies not included in the count. Winter is their favorite season, and also the mating season. They live in the woods, usually in the most foresty parts but can also be found in the mountainous areas as well. They are very fluffy and eat things such as plants, berries, small insects, and small fish. They dislike spiders, most large animals, and loud noises.

If I owned this beautiful bunny, her name would be Maple Sugar, or Sugar for short. Her antlers immediately reminded me of maple trees, and the markings on her pelt seemed so sugary-sweet that Maple Sugar just had to be the perfect combination! This also seems to fit what I see as her personality: outdoorsy and nature-oriented, as well as being happy-go-lucky and very sweet.

If I owned this beauty of a sapple, her name would be Middlemist. Her nickname would be based off of her reddish brown coat; Red. The name fits because as this design is original, this title is based off of a rare flower. She is a gem, I would love to have her and keep her. She'd be special to me because she reminds me of the woods my Step-Grandfather owns. They are alive with creatures and always humming with insects. Her design pops and gives me that feel the forest I love so much. The flower name she is based off of is Middlemist Red. It is said to be the rarest flower in the world! Having Middlemist would mean so much to me, I would keep her very near and dear to my heart.

This is probably the rarest flowering plant in the world as there are only 2 known examples. One can be found in a garden in New Zealand and the other is situated in a greenhouse in Britain. The plant was originally brought to Britain from China by John Middlemist (after whom the plant was named) in 1804. It has since been completely wiped out in China. The plant in Britain remained barren for years and only started bearing flowers recently. The flowers are, contrary to its name, bright pink in color and look almost rose like. It is believed to be highly possible that more examples of this species has survived in people’s gardens, unbeknown to them, as it was once sold directly to the public by John Middlemist.

I think the name Autumn sun really suits this beautiful rabbit. At first I was thinking about just Autumn and then, because of the circles on her, I changed it to Autumn sun. Her colours are the colours of leaves in autumn and her circles look a bit like suns.
