History:
Zukun was born to a small, relatively nomadic pack that claimed its own territory but moved around within the boundaries throughout the year, following the migration routes of the Oxers. Her parents were not in love, but they were married to both end a blood feud that had been raging for years, and to join two relatively powerful packs together. The younger of their two children, she grew up in her brother's shadow- always second best, always compared and never measuring up.
On her 100th birthday, her parents announced that they had found her a suitable match, far to the east, close the to Central Sector-Desert Sector border. Arguments ensued until she was finally confined for three whole months in a cave as a sort of 'grounding.'
Resigned to her fate, she was obliged to marry the male within the next six months, so she would still be 100 when she was married. Her and a few members of the pack left in a caravan of sorts, all of them to be left in the new pack as a 'gift.' When she arrived, she had no time to meet her mate or anyone, because she was kept away from them and in a cave, while everyone rushed around preparing the event.
Finally, on the day, she was let out. Her mate, Aquater, was a rather handsome male, but something happened right after the ceremony. A feast-hunt, to test the new couple's power, was held. The two Oxer bulls, enormous even by Oxer standards, were not as stupid as they appeared. Oddly, one seemed to be in charge, and they fought the pair instead of fleeing. At one point, the antlers of one caught Aquater full in the chest, and then it proceeded to trample him while Zukun's back was turned and she was occupied with the other Oxer.
Several pack members leaped in to help, but they were already too late- Aquater was dying, his chest and torso metal deeply cut, and bent, and there was nothing any medic could do.
Zukun's fury was beyond measure. While everyone crowded around the dying male, she turned on the Oxers, who hadn't fled. They seemed to be in a fight of sorts, the one in charge attacking the one who had killed Aquater. Leaping forward, she tackled the male who had killed Aquater, but the one in charge turned and kicked her in the skull.
For several minutes, Zukun was knocked out, but when she came to, she had a vision- she was beneath the surface of Cainis, deep in a dark void. A powerful voice spoke to her and said she would be given the gift of foresight, though she would not be as good as the King. When she finally truly awoke, Zukun did not stay in the pack, instead leaving and becoming a foretune teller- though whether or not her visions are true, you must find out.
Personality: Sneaky, she is one of the more sly Cainids you might see. Any truces- in her mind- are made to be broken. Back stabbing is common practice, it's how you make money, isn't it? Lie, cheat, steal? However, she is kind and nice to her friends.
Anything else?: Sometimes she wears 'jewelry' made from simple metals, most commonly a stud in her left ear, and sometimes a few 'bracelets' or 'necklaces'.
