Oh yeah, it's about time for another depressed-OC picture. xD

My character Crisis always has this innocent-suffering look in these pictures, but actually she's to a great extend responsible for her own fate. Although her situation really IS not the best (most friends being dead, living in a world which is not nearly as high developed as her old one, being married to a man who truly loves her but whom she can't love in return, having a daughter which isn't his but not being able to tell him because she would most probably be hanged if somebody knew who her real father is, being alone all the time because her husband's at sea, plus some really funny stuff going on in her brain...I think you get it xD) she could still break out of it if she decided not to cling to rules and orders for once. I sometimes tend to think that she just doesn't want to be happy at all.

Aaaaaaaaaaanyway, I hope you like the picture. I was a bit experimenting with the style and I would be happy to have some feedback.

Oh, and the title is inspired by Johnny Cash's "Hurt". Awesome song. Listen to it.

Have you ever listened to Nine Inch Nails' version? Jonny Cash's version is a cover, both are great.

The drawing is great, I love the emotion this picture gives off.

Wow, seriously? I had no idea that the Nine Inch Nails version was the first one. Learn something new every day.^^ I can't decide which one I like better...The orinal sounds a bit more emotional to me whereas Johnny Cash's cover sounds a bit more...weary. I have the image of a desperate young man in my head when listening to the first one and the image of a tired old man (no offense, Johnny :'D) when hearing the second one. Aaaaaanyway, awesome song.
