I like the beard c: From the personality I get from this picture I would say it suits him to have a bit of facial hair. Handsome boy too ;]

I kinda prefer the beard-version as well. He looks a bit too...smooth without it. ^^

Beard. They're underated in the art world. xD I agree with what you're saying about the personality, and I think it helps balance against the beads.. and I think it helps bring out his eyes too, actually.

...which is probably true. He's a wandering bard and sly as a fox when it comes to playing tricks on others (which is an awesome pun because his name is "Fuchs", which is "fox" in German xD).

Mh, yeah, I guess you're right. Didn't notice that it brings out his eyes until now, but that's totally true. So...I guess I'll stick with the beard, lol.
