Sonata was born into a large family, where she was taught by the rest of her family how to find food and survive. She grew up to be a very respected member of her "pack". She was expected to become leader. Sonata didnt want to, though because she prefered solitude. She stole off one night and never came back.
Sonata became a traveler, with no home, and she liked it like that.

Vaerro's story (must be at least one paragraph): Coral was born from the sea, made by sea foam that merged with coral. That is how she was given her name. A quiet thing, she lives underwater and herds the schools of young fish, protecting them from predators until they are old enough to fend for themselves. Coral's job does not upset the Balance of Life, yet it gives the sea creatures a good look at life before they are passed out of adult and parental care. Coral has gotten to the surface before, bu the only reason she is here permanently is because of a fierce storm that separated her forever from the sea. So now she is looking for someone to care for her.

Vaerro's story

I gulped a breath of thin, mountain air in, chilling my lungs and making me push it back out again almost instantly. A soft chuckle made me glance over to the source, but my eyes were still adjusting to, well...life, and so I couldn't make out who or what the creature was other than a fuzzy, wolfish thing in the corner of my vision. Blindly, I pushed myself towards the scent that came with the voice- warm and milky. In short, she smelt good. That's my first memory, breaking out of my egg and into the outside world. I have a good memory, or so everyone says.
I was born in a Mountain cave, a few days earlier than expected. Infact, myself and my brother took Mother completely by surprise. She was living in a group with my father, who wasn't in good health as well as her brother and his mate, Floraa. She'd recently delivered cubs herself, and so myself and my brother had a litter to compare ourselves during our development. My family was a fine pack of Vaerro. Until the Zenthra came.
The Zenthra were- are, though it pains me to say- a large pack of Vaerro. The females are barely distinguishable from the males, and they train long hours, and ruthlessly.
They came, lead by their dominant male Azumni, in the early hours of the morning when I was only six months old. My Uncle, who was on guard whilst we slept, was slaughtered from behind. Then, they entered the cave. We were woken by Floraa's dying screams, but there was nothing we could do other than desperately pelt for the enterance. My father died so that myself, my mother, brother and cousins could escape.
My brother and Floraa's cubs tired quickly, they were exhausted from insufficient sleep, and were caught up with horribly speedily. I can still hear my mother's screams of anguish as her son was dragged away, and recall my desperate squeal of: "Don't take him!"
Then, we came to cliff edge. We didn't have time to stop, and ran straight over. It wasn't as steep as we'd thought, but when we landed I remember seeing my mother's neck bent at a horrible, unnatural angle. I begged her to wake up, but even as I ran to her I knew that she had left this world.
A Zenthra female had also overbalanced on the cliff edge, and was just coming to her senses. A stalked up to her, and remember seeing blood streaming from her paw, where the pad had been slashed against a sharp rock. Bearing my teeth, I prepared to deliver the killing bite, when her eyes flicker open.
"P-please, don't kill me!" She yelped, fright clear in her bright blue eyes. I gasped in shock and disgust, the she-wolf was barely older than me!
The female- who's name was Anua- had been taken from the den at a young age and trained up as a Zenthra warrior. She hated her life there, but it was kill or be killed and-like all of us- she had to obey her survival instinct. I offered to travel with her for a while, and she agreed to.
We travelled the mountains together, and I learned some valuable skills from my new companion. How to fight ruthlessly, and hunt effectively. But, as all things must, our time together came to an end. Anua caught a terrible disease- one which I did not know of, and so could not even begin to cure. It ate her body from the inside, and all I could do was comfort her. I stayed with her until she died.
And that's pretty much me, now. Alone. Maybe I'll try to find a pack oneday, but who knows. The future's the future- unpredictable.
