I enjoyed the movie... Hopefully I will enjoy the books as well once I get them

Basically a mockingjay, slightly different from the original... I hate drawing fire though, and I will take a look what it's like without. If it's better without I will of course change it. I know nothing of drawing birds though, so I used a personal photographie as a reference, and looked up the basic form of a mockingjay to create this one. Probably looks like some sort of dove though xP

Wow... It's so pretty! And I like how it isn't a direct copy of the symbol, but your own creative take on it! I personally LOVE the fire, could you tell me your method for drawing it?

Thanks Yeah, I didn't want to copy the sign completly... I've seen so many copies of the sign recently, and it sort of bothers me. Unfortunatly I have no idea how to draw birds so it sort of failed x3 Actually, this could become a good sign for my Hunger Games char, Dove... Seeing that the bird is similiar to a dove.

I made the fire by using the airbrush tool, adding sort of fumes aroundthe ring with different shades of orange and red. Then I erased a few places to make it look more alike fume. Then I picked the watercolor tool and drew lines with it, creating the "fire" and then putting on overlay. I smudged the edges softly to make sure it didn't look too rough and then repeated it until I have a sort of nice look with it Quite simple, though it took a while before I used this technique to make the fire. I will add the fire again, simply to see it with fire for a while.
