Siberian Husky Playing in the snow

I was going to draw a scene from one of my stories, but when I started I drew the perfect dog ear, so I changed to this. I tried to draw some type of pine tree in the bare spot in front of the husky, but it looked wrong so I undid it. Any comments or criticism welcome!
