What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored and it's always neat and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Butter is very brave and adventurous. She'll do absolutely anything for her friends and family. Loyalty is one of her main qualities. She hates 'lovey dovey stuff' as she calls it. She couldn't care less that she doesn't have a boyfriend or mate. She thinks that life should be lived with excitement and happiness, not being stuck in a 'gross love trance'. She loves to hang out with friends. She's definitely a tomboy, and she's proud of it. She has lots of girl and guy friends. She has a little brother that she loves to spend time with. Her parents live near her den together. Butter is one of the most honest dragons you will ever meet. If she even tries to lie, so goes crazy with anxiety. She can't keep a secret for her life because she's afraid that she'll have to lie to keep it. She's very smart, but she sometimes acts before thinking.
Story:
Butter sighed with exhaustion as she walked through the forest. She had looked through every tree for any sign of living creatures or food, but there was none. She looked behind her, wondering if she should go back. She had left her family in a small cave where they had been staying for a few days. Their old home had been perfect until there was a drought. All of the water dried up and the trees all died. They had been walking for days when Butter found the cave. She told her parents and little brother to rest while she went on. She was dehydrated and hungry, but she stayed strong. She would never give up. Suddenly, she heard running water. She ran forward and saw a small stream. When she leaned in to take a sip, all that touched her mouth was grass. She sat up, puzzled. Then she realized that it was a mirage. She kept walking, every step she took making her less hopeful. She thought that she saw something shining far ahead. She knew that it was most likely another mirage, but she kept going. When she finally reached it, she saw that it was an apple tree. She got on her back legs and bit off an apple. It was real! She thought she heard voices and kept walking. As she walked out of the trees, she saw more Jellybean Dragons! It was a park full of them! She turned around and ran as fast as she could. She had to tell her family! She had found their new home!

Favorite Time of Day: Evening, right when the sun is going down and the clouds turn pink and purple.

JBD Name: Peppermint. Why?: Even if this little jelly bean dragon is based off of a popcorn, I saw a peppermint when I first laid eyes on her. Perhaps it was the horns that gave me the thought of the sweet candy.

JBD Nickname: Pep. Why?: It's the first three letters of her actual name. Also, the nickname I've chosen in my view seems bouncy, which is fitting for the personality below.

Personality: "Fun" Pep is the fun one. A bouncy, outgoing character that will always pop the silence.

"Responsible" Even with her bouncy behavior, it doesn't necessarily mean she is immature. Peppermint can, and will take things seriously.

"Motherly" Passionate, and caring. Peppermint is also known to have a bossy trait along with this motherly character.

"Generous" Pep would giveaway anything to others just to see their smile.

"Sympathetic" Peppermint will always be there for even the smallest pain, emotional, or physical.

"Annoying" All jelly bean dragons have to be a little annoying a points, she just has more of a share of it. Pep teases harmlessly, and plays harmless tricks. Just about anything to get you on slight edge, however not fall over.

Likes: Jelly Bean Dragon children.

They're innocence is something so precious of that of a priceless jewel. Each small one so unique, with imaginations bursting, and dang it are they to cute to ignore!

Sweets.

I like any type of desserts or candies way to much, I can't choose favorites, so I favor them all.

Cuddly things.

This includes pillows, blankets, teddy bears, fluffy jelly bean dragons, all those things I can stuff myself in!

Snow.

Mother nature in itself is a wonderful thing, but her greatest children is the snow. The soft flakes, they're as jelly bean dragons, no two are exactly alike.

Bouncy Balls.

They have so much energy! It just makes you want hop with em!

Everyone deserves a fair chance at changing, but while they're still jerks, they're just jerks.

Fears: The Unknown.

Something you have no information of in the least. One of the things that can really scare the pants off of me. Well, actually, I don't wear pants, but if I did it would.

Bugs.

It's their movement that really sets me off, they skitter, I pop.

Moving Vehicles.

The very sight of one makes me fairly nervous. When I see cars speeding down the road, I'm prone to get dizzy.

Stories: "Winter time"
The fire expressed his language through its ear popping cracks, and soothing hisses. Inside a small cottage was a jelly bean dragon by the name of Peppermint, dozing on a plushy red blanket in front of the fire place. The blanket was soft, and squishy, as if it could swallow you whole. The fire warm, and cozy, dare get up and you'll freeze yourself. Pep opened her eye lids contently to see the blaze. The dragon grinned, however, most unexpectedly she jumped off from the warmth of her bed and skipped towards a square window. Chills rippled through her spine, as her teeth chattered to the sudden change of temperature, however it didn't stop her. She gazed out of the window to see a clear ground of yellow grass. Snow refused to come. Peppermint didn't groan, or sigh, the jelly bean dragon started bouncing over towards the kitchen area, which was only to the left of the living room. Pep entered only to find cold white tile flooring. Her fur bristled, as she sprang quickly across it, heading towards a small wooden table. She tried to hide underneath, failing at this due to her size, instead, she got on top of it, sitting up straight. It was then a door slam came to her attention. Pep sat patiently, and relaxed as the sounds came closer. An older woman entered into the room, her hair white and styled into a bun. She had a pink skirt, along with a matching jacket, and flowery blouse. Brown oval glasses were on her wrinkled face, and in her arms to paper sacks. Peppermint bounded over towards her, as the older woman started to giggle at this. Pep proceeded with standing on her hind legs, offering her arms out.
"Oh what would I do without you.."
The lady sighed, smiling as she handed the jelly bean dragon one of the heavy sacks. Peppermint grabbed it in her mouth, as she went to the wooden table, placing it in the middle. The woman too placed her sack on the table, as the fluffy jelly bean dragon nosed inside of the bags.
"No candy Maddie?"
She cried, disappointment almost of that of a child. Maddie didn't understand jelly bean dragons speech, however, most of the time you didn't need to. Madeline chuckled once more,
"Sorry Peppermint, I told you I spent the candy money on your blanket, remember?"
The woman said, obviously amusement with little Peppermint.
"I remember all right.."
Pep replied, still a little upset over the fact there was no candy. It didn't take long for her expression to change though. The dragon picked out of the bag some canned beans, proceeding with placing in their pantry. Their "pantry" is three long shelves on the side of the fridge. Peppermint retreated back over towards the table, grabbing yet another can, proceeding with placing it on the shelf. Not many cans later, Pep was finished. Madeline was in the fridge, placing a carton of eggs inside. The dragon looked around the small, but cozy kitchen. The area seemed to be brighter with food on the shelf, and even more in the fridge. Of course, no candy. Peppermints taste buds whined for something sweet to eat, as she tried to resist the urge in getting out the bag of sugar.
"Whew!"
The sudden noise from the woman made Pep jump slightly, her thoughts of cakes, whoopers, and licorice were disturbed, probably for the best.
"Nap time for me..."
Maddie declared softly, reaching out her hand to itch Peppermints ear. Pep gladly accepted, enjoying the affectionate scratch from her owner.
"I just had mine!"
The dragon said aloud, a bit of pride in her tone. Madeline placed her hand back to her side, smiling.
"You probably just woke up, didn't you?"
The woman said, knowing the jelly bean dragons schedule. Peppermint didn't reply, but more of pushed in her the direction of the living room, smirking.
"Alright! alright! I may be old, but I can still walk!"
Maddie whipped around to face Pep, her voice obviously in a friendly matter. She continued to go across the living room without Peppermints assistance. The jelly bean dragon waited till she heard the bedroom door close, which wasn't at all that hard to hear. It would have a high pitched creak when swinging it open, as well as closing it. She then skipped back towards the window, gazing out with hope. Still nothing. It was a perfect day for such weather as snow, it was cold and cloudy. Or has Pep calls it, C & C.
Patience..
Peppermint reminded herself, going away from the window back in front of the fire place where her big plushy blanket was. She sunk into it, as the warmth of the fire made all the difference. Pep couldn't help but smile as she gazed into the dancing flames. The dragon wasn't going to be sleeping, however thinking. Work in progress.
