In favour of my fellow Scorpios.

On the weekend, Tessa and I were tracking a
small herd of deer who were feeding in the woods.
There was snow on the ground and I could see their
footprints: two widely-spread toes and two dimple
prints of their dewclaws. These type of print were
left by white-tail deer. The tracks led uphill to a small
grove of pine trees, within were some birches and
some aspen, also a couple of small ragged trees
which I could not name as the deer had rubbed
and chewed away any signs of bark, and the
frost had taken their leaves.
We never saw the deer, but there were about
twelve in the herd, counting the lines of tracks.
The most amount of deer I've seen in one time
was just under thirty.
If you are wondering, this is what inspired me to
create this fursona, Fia Fhomhair. It is Irish for
Deer of the Harvest- or Autumn Deer.
Both deer and Ireland are two things that I
love dearly, along with Autumn and wolves.
Alongside this, the bridle-like thing and the
bit in Fia Fhomhair's mouth is to represent
my love of horse riding. The harness around
his flanks are to represent Harvest.
The hawthorn berries around his mantle are
to represent my love for nature. The silver
chains are to represent the glitter of Autumn rain.
My star-sign is Scorpio as I was born in late
October.
If anyone would like the challenge of doing
some art of Fia Fhomhair, please PM;
I will pay!
