Short story:

I summbled into a strange forest, not knowing where I was. I was lost.... I happened to find a cage, with blue glowing eyes peering out. I questioned why it was there, so I looked in. A strange monster stared back at me, seeming broken and caged herself. I stuck my hand in, fearfull of what might happen. It seemed to just rub against me, happy for the contact. I tried to free this monster, pulling and tugging at the bars. On bar seemed to be rusted, snapping off easy. The monster quickly stumbled out of it's cage, it seemed it hadn't be out in a very long time. I couldn't just leave it there, so we walked together, trying to leave this strange forest.....
