Misty can be a little Frisky but is very calm and friendly around people and animals she is familiar with. She freaks out and bucks if she sees pig or a train. She can be a little frisky but is usually very well behaved. She is known for thoroughly checking pockets regularly for treats like apples and carrots.
History:
Misty was born on a race horse breeding farm way out in the country. she was sold on very early because she was frisky and they didn't want that in a race horse.
Her new owner kept her race horse name of Mist in the Moors but called her Misty the majority of the time. Her new owner worked hard to care for Misty but the time came when they were no longer able to look after Misty.
They took her in her horse float to a big paddock on an abandoned farm. It was near the road where she would be seen and they hung a sign that red 'FREE TO A GOOD HOME.' on the fence and left her some hay and water and drove away.
Misty was rescued by the RSPCA when she was on the brink of death and adopted her out when she was healthy again to me.
Her paddock now has a pond, trees and a little duck in the pond where she is very happy and well cared for.
