Raven was a happy demon-fox child. However, the pack was not happy with his birth. They killed his mother and father, lead by a black wolf named Shadow. The pup was left in the cold, and he had to survive on his own before meeting Ironfang, his mate and other wolves with a vendetta against Shadow. Shadow killed Raven in the final battle, leaving Apollo his son, to avenge him. Raven came back to life for a short while, fathering his other children, Rikmai, Marcus, and Kimbaisun. He was killed for the final time in front of Kimbaisun by a wolf named Death Walker.

Kimbaisun, Rikmai, Marcus, And Ironfang were enslaved by Death Walker and his mate. Ironfang was executed for stealing food, plunging their children into turmoil. Marcus became numb, Rikmai became depressed, and Kimbaisun was filled with an unearthly rage.
