Mare's Registered Name:
The Forever Friday Skye - ( My World )
Mare's Nickname:
Pancake
Reason behind Name:
Well, Friday is the start of the weekend, isn't it? And this weekend has been totally amazing so far; both in reality and here on C.S. I think it has also been my best so far in 2012. And Skye? I love that name, plus sunsets over here are really stunning to watch/view outside of my window. As for My World, it's just an addition. Though there is a reason for it. { Nadia, I'm warning you, my imagination is back! XD } Look close at the mare, and it looks like her patches are countries. Near the belly there is an edge that reminded me of England, the 'rabbit' since the U.K { where I live } looks slightly like a rabbit with his head turned on a map! Oh, and Pancake, is just because of her colour - she makes me hungry.
Mare's Size:
14.3hh
Mare's Breed:
Pure Argentine Polo Pony
Mare's Personality:
Pancake is a slightly shy horse. She doesn't have any paddock buddies, nor visitors, because some say she is far too small. After all, she is only 0.1hh away from actually being a pony. Not only does she need to learn how to earn and gain trust, but she needs to learn that she is also a big favourite to children when summer is here, and that she wants to be seen as she always seems to hide in the corner unless forced to move.
Other than that, Pancake can be great big fun. Everyone at the farm loves to care for her, or having a snuggle or maybe even a talk with her. She can brighten anyone's day even more or cheer them up any time.
Mare's Story:
"Over 'ere! Looks like we foun' somethin'," a quite short and slender cow boy shouted, with a pirate-like accent, hand resting on his leg which was perched on a near by rock. "Wha' is it? A wolf? An eagle?" another questioned, slightly taller, running over, with a deeper tone. "A 'orse. A 'orse," the first one replied, walking towards the heavily pregnant and abused mare. He inspected her, and gave her small, soft, gentle strokes across her stomach and her muzzle. "Seems like she's about ta' foal. We 'etter help 'er," he added, and then instructed the second cowboy, telling him to stay by her side. He sat down on the dusty, rocky sand, putting the mare's skewbald head on his lap. While the two humans were helping her foal, cougars gathered up on the mountains, not being noticed.

"Thas' a goo' girl," the short cowboy whispered, stroking the newborn filly as he talked to the mare. "We 'etter get 'em both to the hospital, the foal doesn't seem to survive for 'ong," he added, as he gathered up the piebald foal in his hands, running towards his desert truck, stuffing the creature in the back. "Get ta' mare ova' 'ere-" he cried as he opened the trailer, with a cougar prancing onto him, jaws and claws pinning him to the ground. The mare snorted weakily over to her child, only getting a whinny back. Soon another cougar was by; but standing on top of the truck, ripping the roof off. "Oh naw'!" the mare's carer shouted, and helped the horse up, quickly transporting her into the almost broken trailer and then lounging himself into the truck, speeding off at once, leaving the now dead cowboy alone to be eaten. "Those beasts!"

As the nurses and vets were putting both equine into the healing process, a next problem came by to visit. "I'm s-s-sorry sir...but your foal has not survived. They got badly scratched, and the mare seemed to weak to pass everything on to her darling." Those words hurt the man, even though he didn't exactly own the pair. "Well, I 'etter be leavin'. They aren' mine." The nurse nodded, and watched him trail off, waving and returning to the mare. She looked at her through the bars, before grabbing a bag filled with all sorts of goodies and slipping them into her slot. The mare immediately rised up to her legs, munching up all the food, definitely feeling all better, safer, and stronger. "Good to see YOU back in shape," she laughed, patting the mare.

Days soon turned into weeks, weeks into months, and those months into two years. The mare was now registered as 'The Forever Friday Skye - ( My World )', her barn name being 'Pancake'. Today was her big day, being given off to a rescue and shelter farm. Savanha Farm.

"She is one little beaut!" a ginger haired girl cried, taking the mare off the driver's hands. "Thank you, we will make sure she gets the ideal home. We've already set up a pasture for this dear. Good bye!" The human her hand around Pancake's neck, fiddling around with her hair and leading her smoothly towards a fresh, newly made pasture. Entering and letting her run wild into the corner to chomp on some grass, the girl laughed and went to check on some other horses before looking up the equine's papers.

Again, years passed, and horses came and went. The girl was sitting in the barn, making feeds for lunch, when a knock appeared within seconds. "Hello? Oh, sure! I think I have the absolute great and perfect mare for you," she cried excitedly as she chatted with this new visitor at the door, and lead her towards Pancake. "Here. Just sign this and she is all yours."
Why Do You Want To Adopt This Mare:
She is a pretty girl! I think Sensation and her would make a great pair, with some stunning and beautiful babies! And same goes with Pancake, like said on Sensation. In my story, she can be the rider's best friend's ranch horse. Haha.
Where Will You Use Her:
You know where, I don't need to tell you, I've said this on ALL my forms, over and over! xD
