History:
No one really knows how this species came to be. It was found mostly in the forest and mountain areas. There are thought to be many roaming the Earth, but it was discovered that very few are only here. Most are found in the Forest of Amythest (so i guess you might see some in my comic!
)
Features/looks:
The fur on their tails are not only for looks, but they hold poison beneath the fur. If they feel threatened, they will throw the fur on their tail in the enemie's face or over a part of the enemy and the poison will sink out in a gassy form, and suffacate the threat. Some males may also have fur on their elbows or higher up their hind legs. Females may not have the mane go all the way up to their forehead, but have it only start at their shoulders.As pups, they will have the fur covering their whole tail, which goes away as they grow, except on the end. The spikes are acutally rare, so very few have them.
