A tribute to the best dog you could ever, ever have in your lifetime. You don't need to read all this nonsense (or it is nonsense to some people), but it would mean so much to me if you did and comment a bit.
Nikki was this dog.
Here are 4 things, out of the many, that she liked. Walks, bones and treats, the outside, and stealing my smoothies. She basically stole anything I drank, but I didn't mind. I loved her. So much, like nothing mattered. And nothing did, when I had Nikki.
She died, when I was about 10, and that was quite a bit about, but I remember her. I remember getting her like it was yesterday. She was just a pup, the most playful you've ever seen.
Nikki was always happy and cheerful, even when I fed her too many treats and got sick. She would sit with me on the couch, watch TV with me until 3:00 am (I didn't go to school at that time and I didn't tell time, so I just kinda stayed up until I was tired), eating- you eating treats, me eating whatever was left in the house.
We weren't exactly what you called a... wealthy family. But we weren't poor, we just didn't have alot of money. No money, at many times. Things were hard.
But then we got Nikki, to spice up our life and have a companion, a guard dog, when my mom was away at work.
Everyone else wanted a different dog than me, some wanted a akita, some a german shepherd, but me?
I wanted Nikki.
Truthfully, when my family came over and saw the connection between me and her, the way she looked at me, my mom knew we needed to get this dog.
From a pup we raised her, she lived a good 6 years and that was long enough for her to grow into a healthy adult. She didn't die of old age, of course.
Nikki was shot.
It hurts me too much to explain what happened, how she got shot, it's even killing me to say sho... it hurts to much.
I loved Nikki like no tomorrow. Someone wanted to take her for a walk? Nope. I always did. I would drop everything to do anything with her.
I would give my life for this dog.
Nikki is truely the most amazing dog you could EVER, EVER have. She always cheered me up when I was down, and it took her almost just one little lick and a smile to do that. I wasn't usually a sad child.
As I said, we weren't exactly wealthy. Poor, at times, you could say. This is a tribute to Nikki. We got a dog just for company, for a guard dog to keep us protected when she was out.
No, Nikki was more than that.
She was mine, and she will forever stay that, in my heart.
I love you Nikki, please... never leave me... </3 Im dying without knowing your in a better place. Your in heaven.
But if that farmer didn't... shoot... you... you'd still be here.
Nikki was my Everything, and she will forever stay that. <3
