(Hi, everybody! XD I hope you have fun on your vacation, Believing! Or The Cookie Monster, I guess. x3 Yeah, the trek was okay except for my feet hurting. The most fun was spending time with my fake family. o3o)
SunClan
Brightpaw started to jerk her head in the direction of the den entrance when Melodykit's weight stopped her. She beckoned Ravenkit with her tail instead and turned to pick her way out of the tightly packed space.
RockClan
Whiterunner woke with a slight frown on his face. Why was he up so early? And why was he frowning? The white tom remembered the meeting he had been called to attend that morning and understood.
I suppose I'll have to get up, then. He got to his feet and stretched, arching his back both ways so as to allow for ultimate flexibility later on in the day. Rumbles sounded from his belly, so Whiterunner padded to the fresh-kill pile and picked up the last unwanted vole. It was cold and scrawny, but it would put something in his belly for his trek out to the Gathering-place. As he ate, the deputy contemplated where he was going that morning. A meeting of the chosen cats. And Heathersong. Whiterunner felt his cheeks go pink at the thought and quickly moved on. DarkClan. That was what they were all meeting for. They had been chosen by the cats of StarClan to defeat Icestar and her warriors of darkness. To be honest, Whiterunner wasn't all that fazed by the news. Somecat had to do it, and it might as well be the ones StarClan trusted to get the job done. If that happened to include a certain RockClan deputy, so be it.
LeafClan
Leafshadow padded after Heathersong, a yawn stretching his jaws wide. Why did they have to go so early? Why did they have to go at all? The fear that had made itself known the previous night returned with full intensity. Leafshadow didn't want to be the cat that went out to defeat evil. He couldn't do anything special except get in the way a lot. Poor Berrykit.
What a cat to have for a big brother. the tortoiseshell tom thought gloomily.
AirClan
Ashfeather leapt to her paws, panting and sweating as her vision slowly came into focus. Horrible nightmare...nightmare... It was only a dream, it was only a dream. The silver tabby sat down hard and tried to gulp in enough cool air to counteract the rushing panic that had been building up inside her.
Breathe. Just breathe. she told herself as her heart faught to keep racing. Now that she had herself somewhat under control, Ashfeather turned around to wake Nightfeather with the hope that her mate could console her. When she turned around, her nest was empty. All that was visible was grass and barely-lightening sky. It took a minute for the revelation to sink in. Ashfeather stood frozen as she realized that her "nightmare" hadn't been a nightmare at all. It was reality.
(Woohoo for short fail posts! xD Actually, I liked Ashfeather and Whiterunner. Brightpaw was definitely fail, though. x.x How did I do with Leafshadow, Rose? Is this more true to his character? *Chews nails*)
