honestly there's a lot i can do with icons. i can overlay gifs, make stuff transparent, put gifs on a fade loop, recolor stuff, etc. im not a magician so i cant do everything but if you request it in the 'other' section and its within my power, ill do it.

if i fail to source images properly or find that i enforce these guidelines poorly this shop may be subject to closure
so please keep that in mind.

• google search is not a source! the whole purpose of sourcing is not because i'm simply interested where you found it, but because the artist or editor needs to be credited for the hard work they've done.
  
• weheartit, pinterest, and vice versa are extremely iffy to find artwork/edits on. a majority of the images there are uncredited reposts or stolen work. this doesnt mean you cant use resources from there--it's just very very difficult to get accurate sources and permission. tumblr is a bit better on sourcing artwork/edits (because a lot of the editors are legitimately from there), but you still need to be careful.
  
  
  • if you would like to use artwork/edits from any of the aforementioned websites, please provide a link to the original page/post you found it (not just 'www.tumblr.com', that doesnt tell me anything) as well as permission from the creator to use it!
• ask for permission and link back to the artist's page. this is an example of how you can do it. it doesnt have to be combined in one image. just include a screenshot of the creator giving you permission in your signature form and a link to that creator's website/page.

  • render artists. renders are images made transparent, but this really isnt all that hard to do ?? most frequently, render artists steal and edit people's artwork without permission. if you find a render and they do not source the artwork they made transparent, please do not request for me to use it or find the source yourself and ask the original creator for permission. this post probably explains it better than me. (props @ squalo)
    
  • photography. if a photograph has a watermark or signature of some type on it, it is most likely copyrighted. i'm not too familiar with the guidelines including these, but if you use a professional photo from an actual photographer i would suggest sourcing back to them and asking for their permission before trying to use it.
  
  if you cannot locate the creator of the artwork/edit or they do not allow you to use it, don't be disheartened! just try looking for free to use images (this includes images from an official series). if you are having trouble finding the source of the image, i'd encourage you to do a reverse google search // you can upload an image into the google search and the results'll show you where its been uploaded. be warned the sources that come up may not be the from the original creator and you may need to do some digging to actually find them... that's the struggle. there's really no way to speed up this process.
