She hoped the apprentice was alright with it. She stood up. Maybe it was time she told Featherstar and the clan. She smiled and got ready to go.

Speckledkit watched Hawkkit get ready to lunge playfully at Waningpaw. But before Hawkkit could, Speckledkit rugby-tackled him. He smiled happily, even when he cat a paw in his face. He'd annoyed Hawkkit since he messed up his punch. He didn't care. He was doing what he loved best, playing tricks.

Birchtail shrugged. He said calmly "I don't know, just wondering. Hmm... I need to find that apprentice of mine. He's always sneaky off to the forest. He sighed. He smiled at Silverstrike and said "Well, do you want to go on a hunting patrol, maybe?" He looked at the she-cat.

Waningpaw noticed HawkKit's crouch and smiled, getting ready to pounce back at the kit. He then let out a shocked meow as he was knocked sideways by the other kit. SpeckledKit. He laughed and rolled over, playfully batting at the kits who were now piling on him. He grinned madly until he saw FeatherFlight stand up. "Where are you going?" He asked, frowning slightly.

Featherflight said gently "I'm going to go tell Featherstar, I'm not sure but. Hmm... Maybe we should be getting back to camp. Come on kits lets go." She padded back to camp. She kept looking behind for the kits. Sh could tell Leafkit was tired and picked her by the scruff of the neck. She padded into camp and looked for Featherstar. She hoped this was the right thing to do.

Speckledkit sighed and jumped off the apprentice. No more playing. He padded at a brisk pace after his mother. Trying to keep up, he gazed around. As they came to the clan clearing he gazed around in awe. So this was where they were supposed to live.

Hawkkit nodded and followed Speckledkit. Though he eventual overtook as he was quicker than Speckledkit. He bounded over tree stumps. This was an amazing adventure for him. As soon as he came across camp, he stayed close to his mum but was amazed by all the different cats.

Birchtail smiled. He said happily "Great, let's get some more cats." He padded over to the centre of camp. He noticed Featherflight enter with 3 kits. Strange? He then looked back at Silverstrike, wondering who would be going on the patrol with them.

Crimson looked around, unsure of what to do. He couldn't follow Scarlet. Fur slightly bristled from his nerves, the young tom padded over to some bushes and layed down, resting below it.

Moonpaw looked at Claytail curiously. "How do we renew the markers?" She meowed softly. She also stayed alert, scenting the air for rogue cats.

Waningpaw shrugged, following the 4 cats. If he returned with Featherflight, he could claim he was helping the med cat gather something. It was better than admitting he had just left the camp again. He ran up to the kits. "So, how old are you kits?" He asked Hawkkit as he caught up.

Claytail smiled. "We just mark the trees along the boundary." He turned so that he could see his apprentice. "I assume you know how to do that?''

Looks at Featherstar and nods then a look of confusion. "Who is the apprentice ceremony for?" He asked his leader.
