Tall, lean frame, round ears, and bright eyes, Xholis are diurnal, hierarchal, and intelligent species that wield the forces of nature. Xholis are social animals that can be recognized into 2 different clans. The ones that hunt at dusk, and those that hunt at dawn. Their pelt reflects their environment as the Dusk hunters tend to have darker palette while the Dawn hunters are significantly lighter. Between those two clans, the species are once again split into more diverse and specialized packs. Fire, Earth and Water are the most common forces of nature that each Xholi wields. The gem they are born with determines their attribute, which is effected by the parent's gems. Every Xholi is given a role befitting their status in the pack, and the leader of the each pack is expected to keep the peace.

Pattern explanation:
I've chosen the pattern of a beta fish. Beta fish are very bright and colorful, which tends to draw people to them, however, they prefer to be alone and will fight any other fish in their tank if they have no place to hide, or no feeling of security. This is like Nadia, and if Nadia is not near a safe space of her own she will become aggressive and potentially dangerous. If she feels threatened or insecure she tends to lash out at others, be it their fault or not. This makes her a particularly good sentinel, because any threats to her pack threatens her sense of security and therefore she will not hesitate to attack. The other reason I have chosen the pattern of the beta fish is because of the elegance of their swimming and movements. Nadia too is very elegant and holds herself high because she has a large amount of self esteem.

The repeating pattern of scales and the association to Nadia with her position, personality, and the use of that for her position, is what drew me to this! Well thought out c:

Soah loved to look at the sky and see the stars out. The pink, purple, blue, and glittering stars reminded her of her old childhood days and the days when she was younger with her friends, which now seemed lost. It always gave her a sense of sadness but at the same time safeness.

She would look up at the sky and see this pattern sometimes and had always thought it was beautiful. Her mother had showed it to her and now she keeps this pattern dear and close to her heart.

This pattern shows Neara's love for feathers and beads. She loves to collect beautiful feathers she finds and she makes necklaces and other accessories with the feathers and colourful beads. She is often getting into trouble for making necklaces while she is doing her job.
Neara is also one to look at the beauty of the simplest things, such as patterns. Even though this pattern is repetitive and has all he same colours, Neara is able to see the beauty beyond the first glance. She studies he small things to see the beauty in the world. She will often just sit somewhere and look at the landscape around her, seeing every detail.

Pattern explanation: It might seem childish, but I love cows. It's easy to see why
calf's pattern would fit that Xohli as their markings are very similar. The cow
above is practically the Xohli if they were another animal. The markings on
the calf's head especially mimics that of the Xohli, with little brown ears to
match. I also liked to think that the two dots on the calf's head represent the
two gems on the Xohli's feet, thinking that maybe if the Xohli was a calf that's
where their gems would be <3

On a personality level, I would like to think that Shira (like the calf) is very soft and
innocent. The way they view the worlds is with wonder and excitement, as if
they are seeing everything for the first time. They like to collect things and
often finds unusually shaped leaves and rocks that they bring back to show off.

It's a unique and lively paint-splattering type of feel that I believe expresses the glaring animate personality that radiates from Amaryllis. It provides insight of her inner creativity and sense of her funky (yet dainty) femininity.
Sui Generis
It means unique. And it's sort of like Amaryllis's version of hakuna matata. This vibrant pattern of paint streaks covering the pale, minty yellow represents her uniqueness! Not to mention her love for re-imagined plaid things as well as her strong passion for painting—her ultimate hobby along with be-dazzling ✩
Asymmetry
Can you see the lopsidedness in the pattern? Somewhat—right? But, Amaryllis sees it as a creative technique that challenges itself to step out of it's comfort zone, coloring outside the lines. Brilliant!
Yellow-Green
On a mood ring, yellow means "imaginative, wondering thoughts, OK feeling" and green means "average reading, active, not under great stress." An extremely pale, light yellow-green is the main color in the pattern shown above and, although Amaryllis doesn't have a mood ring, she lingers between yellow and green in her moods. She loves to think up fantastical places or re-imagine points in her life as she would've wanted them to be like. Most often, however, she likes to daydream about situations that will probably never happen. Then, she could switch around her mood from wishing to not wishing. No stress what-so-ever, as long as she's keeping up the pace of her favorite gait of speed―the canter. Like a horse, exactly! She doesn't like a trot because it's too slow, and she doesn't like a gallop because it's too fast. A canter is just right for a leisurely jog.
