Guardian Foxes are about the size of a full grown German Shepherd dog.
They have ears similar to those of a Fennec Fox, a species which
they are closely related to. They are given feathers, which are attached
to their tails, when they are born. Full grown Guardians typically have a
feather behind one or both of their ears.They are also born with a mist
surrounding their eyes, paws, and tails. This mist is used to capture a human's
dreams or nightmares.
Their soft coats can be any color or pattern. Pastel colors are most common,
they are often dual toned or even chimeric.

a short story //
"You wish for a story, no?" you hear a ghostly voice whisper in your ear, sending shivers down your spine. "Mmhmhmhm, a story you shall get, but first, tell me what you see when you look into my eyess!" It whispered, sounding closer then it had before. Turning around you gasped its eyes were glowing, inside of them you could see your greatest fears. Fighting your fear, you tentatively reached out a hand jolting up when your fingers touched fur, "y-your a GF?" you whispered, eyes open wide in surprise. "A GF? Surely you don't mean a girlfriend now do you?" the words having an undertone of anger, "N-no! I meant a "Guardian Fox" with a voice of trembling nerves. "Ahahaha sorry kit, I being of an ancient lineage find no need for those silly abbreviations. I simply find no need for them." the being stated, sounding calmer then before. "Now you came for a story now, so sit down, nobody is going to hurt you so kindly stop seeming that way." listening to the fox, you sat down and relaxed waiting for the story.

"A long while ago a family of foxes (normal foxes mind you) lived in this very forest, they were kind and rarely needed anything. One day they had ventured out and found an ancient cave, bravely stepping forward their eldest child had gone inside the cave, to come back a whole different fox. He wasn't an ordinary fox anymore, he had turned into me! Inside the cave were ancient rune symbols, made to create special enhanced foxes. He had gone in there and turned into me, losing his mortality in the process. A reminder of his mistake is my eye, this eye shows your greatest fears and turns them against you. When the young fox came back, his family had abandoned him, afraid of his new eye and coloring." "Where's the cave?" you questioned, "Hah! I destroyed it. Never again to turn another fox. Ah! Excuse my manners I simply forgot to ask, what's your name?" the seemingly male fox asked. "I', _______. Who are you? And are you a boy or a girl I can't tell." you boldly asked them, "I'm Masutābatto, but you can call me "Sutā.I don't really have a gender, so you can refer to me as whichever you'd like." He answered. "I-I must be going, can I come back again for another tale?" You questioned, "I guess so, beware of those whom are of whom." He answered back cryptically.

"Why do I have to wear this pitiful dark color Masteress-Sama?" the dark purple fox seemingly whined, "Why can't I have a bright colored suit? Black is just so booooorinnnnggg!" Yes, Suta was whining. Again about his suit. "Urgh! SUTA! FINE! Take this purple suit and leave me alone! I'm working on a sword darnit!" groaned Mo, it had been at least the 100'th time Suta had whined about his suit. Mo thought Suta would be so dignified as to enjoy a formal black suit, but noooo he wanted a bright suit! "Hn. Thanks Masteress-sama." Oh now he was back to normal! How irritating.. thought Mo, as he continued on his new custom sword, no matter.." he mumbled, clearing his thoughts of the Butler-like fox. CRASH! Mo turned, wondering what the ruckus was when he saw Suta with a flashlight, "What's this weird object?" Suta questioned while poking the on and off button repetitively. Mo bit his tongue in frustration, "it's a flashlight Suta! It lights things up, now please leave me be!" Mo practically screamed, "Y-yes Masteress-sama!" Suta bowed and went off to his work, carrying the flashlight with him as he had taken a liking to the weird object.

Short story:
When venom was young, she was a very social guardian fox
often times running around in dreams messing with people,
enjoying the many happy things people dream of. Until she
ventured into the wrong persons dream, she saw horrible things.
She quickly left the psychopath's dream and it left her shaking
with her eyes darting every which way terrified of the darkness
that surrounded her. she could stand being alone anymore after
that. So now she is very jumpy and only walks among dreams
of the one who takes care of her. she has refused to walk
in the shadows, but more and more the darkness is becoming
a posing threat. She will have to fight her demons if she is to
live without any fear, and it will be a long fight for comfort.
However, she cannot start her fight alone, would you let me
hold onto her to help her in the fight?

a short story //
(backstory just so i remember what i just thought up for his backstory haha)
Emek was born in the underworld, hence his dark colors. He is immune to fire, and whatever he touches dies. He is isolated because of it, and owns several plants/victims to help him try control his power. He lives in a long cave where he eats little insects.

Short story:

Emek walked tirelessly for goodness knows how long. Nothing seemed right back then, all the ghosts and spirits. Unlike them, who were already dead, he could die and therefore the underworld posed many threats. He had heard stories of how amazing the land above was, so he made his journey. Luckily he had always hated fruit and therefore could go up there. He had also heard of a certain goddess who went up to earth for spring and returned every winter. He hoped to see her and convince her to bring him along.

But for now he would sleep.

He was suddenly woken up by a sharp poke in the chest. He looked up and saw what had to be a goddess. She looked surprised, and crouched low so he was almost his height. "What are you doing down here?" she whispered. He couldn't answer, cause frankly he didnt know either.

She got up and slowly walked away. Emek followed her. They ended up in a small clearing with a high roof, and a chariot with horses awaited her. She got in. No one noticed the small fox climb in, and soon he was in the delightful land of earth.
