Here's a little challenge, guys. I know very few of you have your stories set in plain ol' America or whatever. Therefore, describe your world as thoroughly as possible, with the following included-

-The setting country's name
-Languages
-Magic and supernatural forces
-Laws (because I just know that in some of your stories student rights, child labour and laws against harassment/assault literally don't exist)
-Species differences?

The setting country's name~
Longleaf is a miniature city, located in Rufford, a country located next to Furford. Longleaf has a lot of prairie land and gardening happening in it, my city.
Languages~
There is English and the ancient Pawglyphs. Pawglyphs is what you can to take a semester in, if an archaeologist is on your job list.
Magic~
Well, you have Alex who controls energy and light reflections, Karla who controls flowers, Rex who controls light, Leah who controls snow and ice, and a lot more!!!
Laws~
You have to show up to school at least once a week, you have to not commit any felonys, and you cannot create a rebellion.
Species differences~
Not yet, but if someone of another animal joins, i'll accept it.

The setting country's name
Well that depends right now XD He's in Egypt at the moment, but he lives in Ameowica. I just realized some real places were mentioned (other than Egypt, oh well) so I'm gonna go back and change that. Let's just say Ameowica is the setting country I guess.

Languages
I imagine just English, but there's lots. Pretty much every language the real world has around the world.

Magic and supernatural forces
Okay, let's see. We've got Cleocatra, a mummy long-dead that happened a while ago, but otherwise there isn't really magic or any of that. There might be supernatural things like ghosts, though.

Laws
I'm going to say Archie follows Ameowican laws, aka American laws. Plus one of the Ameowican laws is no cannibalism. Let's be honest, though cannibalism is counted as murder there is no true law stating against it in real life America.

Species differences?
None at all! There might be smaller things for rats and hamsters, but none! Dogs (and wolves, I dunno) are more common though.

Question everyone: If someone drew fan art of your diary, would you like the characters to be their regular species or would you like it if they were human?

I think it's pretty cool if someone turned my canine characters human :3

^^^ Definitely animals. Seeing artwork of any alternate universe makes me wonder how events played out there, and the species differences translated to humans... yeah, kind of offensive.

Same here. It's awkward reffering to them as dogs or wolves, so I call them people. (I treat all animals like people. :I ) My characters do lots of human things. I'm actually not sure if they've ever done a dog thing...

Yeah, I guess that's why I like the human version. My characters really never do anything canine-like, so I guess it's pretty cool to see them as humans :3
