My first drawing on the CS oekaki in over a year! Oekaki is still as hard to use as I remember, though I must admit that there are some perks and advantages to using it than compared to other art programs.
This piece is of my fursona, Sentoki (without his wings and bandana though) having awoken in the midst of winter. Snow is falling pretty heavily, and temperatures are low enough to even allow his own breath to be seen. Despite all this however, the sun is shining brightly and its rays represent the hope that the cold weather will end sometime, no mater how long it may actually take.
This piece was inspired by the unusual cold weather that my country is currently experiencing. It's probably not considered cold to most people (27-29 degrees Celsius during daytime, 24-25 during night) but it's considered cold to locals here, since we're used to daytime temperatures of over 30 degrees (sometimes even up to 36 degrees during june and july). I'm freezing right now as I'm typing, so try to imagine someone typing at the keyboard while having a blanket wrapped around them. (it's tough, trust me).
Anywaaays, I've ranted long enough. Time to end this off.
