Saying goodbye to 2014; one of the worst years that I have had in a long time, if not the worst I have had in general. If you don't want to read about it then just skip over the mini text below. Needless to say this boy is hopefully going to help ring in a better 2015 for me. He is inspired by a pretty nasty villain who is one of my favourite characters. I'm sorry guys if its selfish of me, but I kinda see him as an embodiment of what happened and hopefully things to get better. I will open for breedings and get a couple of adopts out soon I promise.
2014 was just such a terrible year.. I had 2 of my grandparents end up in the hospital and almost die due to their illnesses. Thankfully they both made it out of there but they still aren't doing as well as we would like so we are all worried about them. I also had to deal with many deaths in our family this year.
I had my favourite bettas pass away which, while it is just a fish, they had names, personalities and were with me a long time so I was sad. They would swim right over to the front of the tank when I walked in the room and it was always nice to see they were "happy" to see me. I also ended up having to euthanize one who had a really terrible flesh eating disease shortly after I bought him from the store and I never, never want to have to do that again..
My first dog that I personally owned, a miniature poodle, named Teddy passed away Feburary 7th. This was the hardest as I have never personally hard to decide that it was the time to let them go and he went from being happy and playful one day to basically crippled the next and I couldn't put him through more. He was 12 years old.
July 4th, I walked into the barn in the morning and we found one of our horses laying dead in his stall. He had been perfectly fine the day before, and while we had been treating him for a slight cough, he was eating and playing and running around in the field. We believe he died of a heart attack or heart failure. He was around 18-19 years old. I had to deal with my sister freaking out (he was her horse) and hold everything together as my parents were both out of the house, but thankfully our neighbour was willing to help us.
July 7th my black gerbil named Axel passed away after not doing well for quite some time. I had seen it coming but I was still really hurting over our horse's death. She was around 4 years old.
August 23rd my silver gerbil named Roxas passed away rather suddenly. She had been not doing terribly well but I hadn't expected her to pass away that suddenly. She was my sweet little girl who would come over to visit so that really hurt and she was my last gerbil. She was over 4 years old.
We then lost our second older dog, a German shepherd named Gypsy. She had been doing okay considering she had a major tumor that had been removed in a surgery that had spread to her liver, and likely to her heart and lungs. They had given her anywhere from 2-10 months after her surgery in early summer and she lived longer than they had expected, lasting 4 months until finally we found her and she couldn't stand. She was around 8-9 years old.
I have had pets come and go in my life but never before have I lost so many close family members (and yes I consider my pets family) in 1 year. Good riddance to 2014 and hopefully a clean slate in 2015.

Considering making him Poe's brother maybe. His quip etc. is related to the character but I won't go too into it.
