Mabel kept her school bag over one shoulder as she and her brother walked back to their old school in California. It felt so... Odd, you could say, to be back. She glanced at Dipper as they walked through the doors and into the eight grade hallway. She was still thinking about the Paranormal when she bumped into someone. "Hey, watch it loser," they said. Mabel apologized and walked over to her locker, which was next to her brother's.

Dipper sighed, unlocking his locker and opening it. "It feels weird, not being in Gravity Falls..." He muttered quietly, half to himself. He tensed as he felt somebody calling his name, and tried to ignore it. "Hey, Dippy and May-belle!" Some kids nearby called, laughing. "How's the weather down there?!"

Mabel nodded, putting her bag in her locker. "Yeah. We have no one to talk to about the Paranormal. Do you still have your Journal?" she asked, and then heard someone say their name. She winced, hearing them and bit her lip, trying not to turn around and yell at them. Wishing they could summon zombies without them controlling the world. Why, how's the weather up there, six-foot? she thought sarcastically, grabbing her books for their first class

Dipper sighed, grabbing his books and closing his locker, locking it. "Yeah." He murmured, leaning against his locker. "But it's back at home, under my bed, of course."

Mabel looked at her brother and smiled. "Good. Too bad mom wouldn't let you take it to school. I was afraid she'd take it and send it back to Grunkle Stan," she said, laughing softly as she shut her locker. "Hm. Maybe this day'll go by quicker if we pretend we're fighting, oh I don't know... Anything but Gideon and zombie?" she suggested, looking at Dipper
