I smiled and reached for his hand to shake it. "It's a pleasure to meet you Luke, my name's Kaedlynn. But you can just call me Kaed." I said with a smile upon my face. "Sorry for the lame question..Im not thinking straight today, It might be the fact we're in a plane." I thought for a minute before adding, "Yeah, I'm going to blame it on the plane." I mumbled.

Luke stared straight pass the girl, although it was probably not noticeable in the girl's view, at an elderly couple setting their bags down in the middle row. Are they going to the resort thing? Wait, no, Luke...you're stupid, he thought to himself. He locked his gaze on the girl as he realized she had said something. "Wait...uh, can you like...repeat all that you said. I wasn't listening," he laughed softly, scratching the back of his head with his hand.

"Thanks," Luke smiled yet another time. "Kaedlynn..." he repeated quietly to himself. "I've never heard that name before. It's pretty unique, no offense," he brushed his fingers through his hair.

I laughed and nodded. "I get that a lot. My mom wanted to give me a unique name and she just had to pick one of the weirdest names ever...." I mumbled getting quiet.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I like it," Luke grinned. "Luke is more common, I guess. But, at least I can spell it. I have no idea how to spell your name," he laughed. "Kaedylnn... hmmm.... K-A-D-E-L-Y-N?" he attempted, glancing at her to say it was either correct or not.

Luke frowned slightly for a brief moment, but then it turned back into a smile. "I bet you can't spell my name," he said sarcastically. He folded his arms and kicked his feet up on the chair ahead of him, not caring if a person was there or not. They would just have to deal with it.

Luke shook his head, grinning. "It's L-U-U-K-E," he lied, it was clear that he was being sarcastic. "Copy cat," he narrowed his eyes jokingly as she copied him. "So how old are you, Kaed?" he asked, using her nickname. He liked the sound of it.
