Shadefeather's ears flicked, looking around at the cats in the clearing, as grief hung heavy in the air for the loss of the warrior. She stood back, looking around once more. She shouldn't have passed so suddenly like this..

[honeybee.]

Poppykit
I nuzzled Cloudmist "The medicine cat will make her better!" I said matter of factly.

[Monotaire]

Cloudmist Grieved heavily but silently for gingerscratch. She had lost track of time, and sat next to the deceased warrior.

She then turned to poppykit, and nuzzled her back. "There is nothing that will make her better, little one..." She stammered.

[nyacinth]

Flamepaw turned to Ashtail. "Gingerscratch is dead! There's no obvious wound signs, too, and I got here too late to save her..." She sighed, grieving for the warrior, and angry at herself for not arriving sooner. Her eyes showed great sadness when she heard Poppykit. Oh, I wish... she thought, tail drooping.

Silver star gasped and looked down with sadness. She lifted her head and addressed the Clan grimly. "There is a murder among us, my Clan. I don't know what to do about it, but we will watch our backs and be safe." Silverstar dipped her head awkwardly and laid at the entrance to her den, frowning.

Poppykit
I looked at how sad everyone else was and nuzzled Gingerscratch "So she can't be healed?" I sniffed.

[Monotaire]

Cloudmist didn't know what to say to the little kit. "I'm afraid not..." She sobbed. Cloudmist lay down and sobbed, her head in her paws.

[honeybee.]

Poppykit
"If she has left and gone to starclan she will ne happy!" I told Cloudmist nuzzling her "She wouldn't want us to be sad she would want us to stop and more cats being killed!"

Ashtail looked at the dead warrior sadly. "Wait," she meowed, looking at Silverstar, "Someone from our clan did this? But why would they kill their own clanmate?" She felt shocked that someone would do something like this.

Despite the situation, Flamepaw smiled at Poppykit's words. "What she says is true, Cloudmist. I'm upset because I didn't get here on time, but Gingerscratch will forgive us." She frowned. "Someone in our clan did this, Ashtail. There's no clues, and we will have to vote."
