She looked up at him with that pleading look "but it's my fault so I don't want you to get hurt because of me" she shuffled her feet on the floor

I smiled lightly,"don't worry, no one usually cares for me , I'm use it I guess," I said shrugging.
"But I know that if something bad happens to you, Xavier would kill me and I would kill the person who hurt you in the first place," I smiled feeling the heat rise to my cheeks a bit.

She blushed bright red "I care for you... But I couldn't live with knowing you got hurt because of me" she played with the hem of her shirt

I walked up to her, "fine, but if he touchs you I don't care that he is my friend, no one is going to hurt you," I said looking at the ground blushing.

I looked down at her and hesitated but wrapped my arms around protectively and hugged her close. I smiled, as I rest my chin on her head. I was falling hard for her that's for sure I thought to myself.

She smiled and held the hug there before pulling away slightly but only enough to see him and not actually break the hug "thanks" she whispered to him then rested her head back on his chest
