Okay, so I've never done a contest before for things like "Design my character a mate" sort of thing, so I'd really love to get an idea of what is acceptable to ask for and what isn't/is asking too much.

[b]For a "design my character a mate contest," is it reasonable to make it in the rules that you get to keep all entrants as characters,if they don't win? Or is it better to offer to pay for the ones you want to keep?[/b]

For a "design my character a mate contest," is it reasonable to make it in the rules that you get to keep all entrants as characters,if they don't win? Or is it better to offer to pay for the ones you want to keep?Pay them, of course. ^^; It's not fair for people to put work into something they're very possibly not going to get paid for.
