Eleven nodded his head, "Yes, well. When I said you would burn up, I didn't mean it literally." He mused, "But there is a great chance that your memories are the problem."
He wasn't sure what to do. He couldn't take her memories... not again. But he couldn't let her die!

[EO+RS]

"Oh." Roger said, blinking softly. She looked into his eyes, and sighed. "Thank you." She said softly.

"Anytime." said Lestrade, smiling a little. "You don't need to ask."

[Kanaria]

Roger looked a bit confused. "How will you know what I need unless I ask?" She said, using her regular tones. "Unless your trying to say I can just command you."

[EO+RS]

"Well, yes, but I'd rather you just know I'll be here for you." said Lestrade, shrugging without removing his arms.

[Kanaria]

Roger smiled slightly, leaning back in his arm. "Thank you." She said again.

[EO+RS]

"Any time." Lestrade repeated, sighing and pulling her in close.

Roger nestled into him, wondering slightly why she wasn't nervous to be around him, after what had happened. It was nice, not to fear him.

[EO+RS]

Lestrade smiled, remembering the first time he had hugged Roger and he'd insisted he not. It felt good, better now that she trusted him.

Roger lay her head on his shoulder, sleepy, but knowing she couldn't sleep. The terror of what happened was too close. Too vibrant.

[EO+RS]

Lestrade just sat there, holding Roger. Sometimes you just needed a friend, as he'd found to be very true with Mycroft. Good advice for a good future.
