I see some questions, answers, and arguments being repeated over and over and over in this topic. If there is anything that you're unsure of, please just read through the topic first to see if what you're looking for has already been covered.
We have noticed that it seems like the main concerns so far are about a few favorite pets like the PPS ponies and the rainbow mane changing. If the opinion remains divided then we may re-vote with new conditions such as keeping the PPS ponies and have special line edits for things like the rainbow mane horse so that it still looks good on the new lines.
For questions about donkeys, zebras and unicorns:
As I've already said in the first topic, the unicorn lines aren't finished yet so we aren't ready to show those.
The zebras would not be changed in this update, but we're not ruling out changing them in the future if the other old lines get updated. We would likely take a separate vote on those.
The donkeys are likely to be moved onto this lineart, although it's unconfirmed so far because the files are missing:

Donkeys have only been released about 2 or 3 times on the site so the advantage to having them on pony-like lines is that most pony items will already fit them
