I have this same problem. I've used every type of ball at least twice on most of the legendaries, but I just can't catch them X_x

Dark Balls. Dark Balls in caves work better than Ultra Balls.

Is there a difference in the type of move we use; sleep, paralyze, etc.? I usually use hypnosis when they're down to their very last bit of hp, but even then, the ball never shakes more than twice, if even that. =P

Paralysis and Sleep help. Paralysis also has the added "lowers speed" effect and it doesn't go away over the battle unlike sleep.

I'll try paralysis then. I usually avoid using my Ampharos, whch is the only electric strong enough to actually fight one, since I'm afraid of KOing it, but I always save first anyway. XD

Does it have Thunderwave? I'm pretty sure Moltres doesn't have any physical attacks so Static won't kick in.

Thanks, I'll try that. Ugh, now I have to go all the way back to Mt. Silver again DX *is lazy*

I'm actually not sure if I have any pokemon over level 20 that have non- fighting moves. Whenever one of my pokemon wants to learn a new move, I make it forget the ones that only affect status.

I used to do that. Now I have ones set aside just for statuses. If you're in metagame, you need support moves.

Not HGSS, but I don't care, I beat the Tower Tycoon in Pearl for the first round with only my Garchomp and Vaporeon. Now I get to take on harder opponents with good teams instead of stupid AI with crappy first stage teams every set! YES! -<3s challenges-

Just curoius... when and how do you get Suicune? Or Lugia (I have Gold)? And what other legendaries do you get?

EDIT: According to the pokemon personality test, I'm Mew XD
